Here's chapter two! I honestly think this chapter is better than chapter 1 but it might just be me; who knows haha.
This song matches this chapter so much, it's scary.

As soon as Maddie and I arrived in the driveway, it was obvious that the party was in full swing. Flashing lights peaked through the curtains and lit up the entire house, or mansion I should say.Music blasted through the walls and shrills of high pitched screams bounced into my ears.
The residence looked classy and elegant, with large, white pillars bordering a grand, dark oak door adorned with gold plated handles. Perfectly trimmed hedges embroidered the perimeter of the front garden and a massive marble fountain with a small statue of a woman's body lay right in the center of it. The property was fit for royalty, however, the people inside were far from it.
Once Maddie and I climbed up the marble stairs, through the doorway, and into the house, she immediately gets pulled away by a group of giggling girls and the crew drowned in a sea of bodies. I reluctantly step into the house and attempt to find Maddie. But no luck. She was gone and I'm not sure if I would see her for the rest of the night.
I knew it was a mistake to come; I knew I would be alone as soon as I arrived because this always happens.
"It'll be fun," Maddie said. "I'll be by your side the whole night."
Of course this would happen. I should have known.
Left alone surrounded by teenagers dancing and the smell of rancid beer, I search for a familiar face. None.
Pushing through the mass of wild partygoers, a cloud of alcohol and perfume brushes up my nose. Loud and frantic shrieks burst in my ears and limbs flail every which way. After walking past the kitchen, I spot a vacant couch and flop down, planning to sit there for the rest of the night. Slowly, the drunk enclose me, grinding against one another. The image in front of me is disgusting.
"Hey baby, you wanna dance," someone whispers into my right ear. I turn towards the source of the voice and scoot away. A drunk and disheveled young man leans down and grins at me, patiently waiting for my response.
"No thanks. I'm good right here." I say as I look away from him.
"Well it's a shame a pretty little thing like you is sitting alone. Come on, I promise I'll show you a good time...."
"I said no thanks-" In the corner of my eye, I see Mason walk in the house with the same girl from the mall earlier today. He's wearing the same black leather jacket but the girl changed into a tight, red, strapless dress and wore stiletto heels, sharp enough to stab me right in the heart.
I don't know what came over me but I get up and pull the mysterious man towards the dance floor and swing my arms around his shoulders.
"I thought you didn't want to dance," the stranger says, as he puts his hands on my waist.
"I changed my mind. I realize that I need to relax and have some fun."
I turn my head towards the door, and see Mason staring straight at me, leaning on the wall, one hand with a red solo cup, and the other holding onto the strawberry blond.
I'm mad. How dare he torture me like this. How dare he flaunt his new relationship in my face. It's like he wants me to be unhappy.
"I'm sorry, I need to get something to drink. I'll be right back." With that, I rush to the kitchen, grab a beer from the fridge, and sit down on one of the counter chairs. I don't usually drink, but tonight, I just need to forget.
