Monday morning 7:45 am
"Wake your ass up child! Do you see what time it is you're already late for school" my father yelled thowing my bedroom door open. Groaning I sit up in bed "Get you're lazy ass up" he frowned looking at me with pure disgust.
After my father found my mother cheating on him he started drinking and of course he started to hate me. I reminded him of the woman who betrayed him the woman who chose to give up not only her life but also her daughter just so she could have a new life with her doctor boyfriend.
I don't really remember my mother anymore I was just a child when she left my father and I behind for her new life.
But it really took it's toll on my father after she left he started going out every weekend then every weekend turned into every week. I was left alone at the age of five I don't think my father really cared or maybe he was just to wrapped up in trying to drown out his own problems to even remember me.
I didn't blame him not at first but as I got older he started hating me more I didn't think I would ever hear such hateful words come from my own fathers mouth.
"You stupid whore! Do you not hear me talking to you!" My father spat glaring at me. "Sorry" I mumbled looking down at my hands I knew not to argue with him especially after he's been drinking. "Instead of apologizing you sure get your fat ass up I ain't driving ya to school so ya better walk" He mumbled walking out of my room.
Sighing I whipped at the fallen tears no matter how many times I heard my father talk to me like that it was still like someone stabbing me in the chest. I felt so pathetic for crying I was use to this by now but the words he spoke still stung.
Slowly I made my way out of bed just like every morning I had to force myself to keep going. Even when all I wanted to do was to just close my eyes and to never wake again.
I picked up a dark blue shirt that was laying on the floor smelling it smells semi clean I only owned a total of three shirts and two pair of jeans. I quickly got dress studying my refection in the mirror. Long curly brown hair Pink pouty chapped lips button nose and Rosey cheeks and Dark chocolate eye's framed by a pair of large round glasses. I know I'm not pretty and to top it off I was short and cubby or as my father like to remind me fat.
"Hurry the hell up!" My father shouted from down the hall he wasn't a very patient man.
"What took ya so long huh trying to fix yourself up" he laughed looking at me "it's gonna take a miracle to help your fat ass" he added thowing his beer can at me. "Why do you hate me so much" I asked looking up at him I already knew the answer it was cause I looked so much like my mother.
"Who the hell do you think you are talking to me like that shut your fat ass mouth" he glared at me "before I shut it for you" he added grabbing another beer. "Whatever" I whispered walking pass him "oh yeah pick up another six pack on ya way home" he added as I left.
I can't believe how much my father has changed he wasn't the same man who used to read me bedtime stories and play baseball with. He wasn't the same loving father who would sing along with me to my favorite Disney song.
