oof that last chapter was long also I never update lmao. This chapter might break your reddie hearts I apologize in advance. alsoooooo I'm introducing new ppl into this book because its mainly just focused on Richie and Eddie and I wanna change that? and I won't be able to update like this anymore tho because I dance at my school and we have a student choreography showcase and I'm choreographing lmao.

"Richie, If you're bi i- I'm not judging, I-I'm gay so I can't really talk, so I support you if you are," Eddie said as he began to fiddle with his hands and began to fidget. Eddie knew Richie was iffy about this topic and hated talking about his sexuality since his parents convinced him he was an embarrassment if he was bi. 

"did I say it was a he?? I meant she sorry all my words are coming out funny today aha... Anyways her name is um-" SHIT. I have to come up with someone or else Eddie won't believe me, Richie thought. "Her name is Max, she's friends with those kids Mike, Dustin, and Lucas and that other girl El?" Richie said as he nervously scratched the back of his neck. 

Eddie smiled trying to be happy for Richie but he wasn't, he wished Richie would confirm that his mother's words were wrong and that being gay inst a sin.  But what Richie said only made him feel worse. People stared at gays and judged them and it made Eddie so uncomfortable but when he was with stan and bill they would comfort him and tell him its ok. He wanted that comfort from Richie oh so badly he wished Richie would have told him it's ok in the movie theater. he wanted Richie. He has feelings for Richie and now Richie has fallen for someone else. 

"oh ok... she's um really cute you should ask her out she's like you a lot." Eddie said as he tapped his pointer fingers against each other and looked down trying to avoid Richie's face. "um- I better get home my mom is probably looking for me." Eddie said as he stood up and looked at Richie and smiled as he grabbed his bag. Richie nodded and smiled and waved as Eddie left. 

The door slammed behind Eddie and he walked home since his house wasn't far but a ride from Richie was out of the question since he couldn't stand looking at him. when he looked into Richie's eyes that were occasionally blocked by his curls he felt so many different emotions. he felt lust since he wanted Richie so badly, sadness since he wished he liked him back, and jealousy since he would probably start dating Max. 

Richie heard the door close and he immediately grabbed his phone hoping maybe Bill could save him. 

Richie: shitfuckshitfuck

Bill: boi what

Richie: I have problem

Bill: what

Bill: I stg if Eddie is involved in this 

Richie: oop

Bill: rICHIEEEEEEEE

Richie: listen listen ok ok

Richie: he asked me who I liked and I panicked and told him I like max

Bill: hAHAHAHAHA

Bill: sorry not funny

Richie: Bill so help me

Bill: just ask Max out and convince Eddie you two are dating and see if he gets jealous and if he does then he probably has feelings for you. If he doesn't dump Max and try a new plan to get Eddie to fall for you. 

Bill: but I'm pretty sure he likes you

Richie: I like the way you think 

Richie: how tf do I ask max out I don't think she even knows I exsist

Bill: yOU ARE A SAUCY BOY

Bill: I bELIEVE IN YOU

Richie: I don't think she's interested in anyone at the moment

Bill: I'll text her then and tell her you are looking for a relationship, I'll be subtle don't worry

Richie: sUBTLE ISNT IN YOUR FUCKING VOCABULARY

Bill: LEAVE ME ALONE MOM

Richie turned off his phone and tossed it aside waiting for Bill to respond or to see if he got a text from Max. Was this a good idea? maybe. ok maybe not? Richie wasn't thinking straight all he could think about was Eddie. Why couldn't he just tell him how he felt?
