A friend trust

(Sorry I haven't updating the story for a while,just been lazy to finish the story,so here it is)
Y/n's POV
I woke up in the master's bedroom, groaning. "What happened to me?" I begin to get up from the bed and went downstairs to the living room. "Ah, finally your awake,miss l/n." A familiar voice in the living room...it was shadow, reading his book. I went in the living room and sat on the couch. "Shadow,what happened?" I asked him. He sighed and begin to explain what happened. "The last time,I seen you, running while crying in the rain,you told me that your husband broke up with you." He said while looking at me. "Oh... that's why." I said,my ears were down. "It's ok, you're here with me for now." He said while hugging me tight. I blushed slowly, hugging back. "I'll protect you,y/n." He whispered softly. We hugged each other for a while and released from his arms. "You know shadow,I really do trust you." I said softly. "Yea, like a friend trust." He said while he put his hands on my shoulders. "We should get some rest for tonight." "Yea, it's passed bedtime." He said while carrying me, upstairs to the room. As he covered me with a blanket as he went in the same bed while covering himself with the blanket as we felt to sleep.
Next morning~
I felt a pair of arms around my waist and loud purring on my neck. I woke up and turned around,seeing shadow sleeping. *Giggles* "he look cute while sleeping,so cute." I thought, blushing madly. "Oh,I forgot to go to work with giles!" I panicked, waking up shadow. He moaned while opening his eyes...."shadow,we need to go now!" I said, while i panicked. Both of us jumped out of bed and getting ready for work.
