Lui placed me gently in his lap petting me. I didn't exactly want to purr it just came out.
"Okay Lui I'm giving her a bath." Boss said. He picked me up. I struggled to get out of his arms. I don't want some guy washing me! I meow loudly for Lui to save me.
"Evan you know cats hate water." Lui said. I nod my head. "See even the cat agrees."
Hmm I didn't expect his name to be Evan.

"I don't want her stinking up the house." Evan replied. I looked at him with hate in my eyes.

"Whatever. If you get clawed that's on you." Lui responded. Noo Lui don't bail out on me that easily.
He continued to carry me upstairs. He walked into the bathroom and shut the door. He placed me down while he started the bath. While he did that I was looking for ways out. I jumped up on the toilet and on the sink area. I got on the edge of the sink and reached my paw out. Once my paw was safely on the door knob I moved my other paw and slowing start twisting it. The door cracked open I jumped off the sink and squeezed my way out.
"Hey! Get back here!" He yelled. I bolted down the stairs in search for Lui. I found Lui and ran up to him. I sat on my butt and put my two paws together to make it look like I was praying.

"I've never seen a cat do that before." Lui squeaked. I mentally laughed considering I can't do it in real life. He picked me up swiftly and gently started rubbing my back.

Evan came running down the stairs, he saw me sitting in Lui's lap. He placed his hands on his hips and gave me an upset look. He sighed.
"Alright, I'll give you a bath tomorrow." He huffed. 'Thank God, maybe I'll be healed by then' I thought. My muscles relaxed and my mind settled.
Let's hope that my wound gets healed soon so I can escape... But something inside broke as I thought about leaving. Ugh I cannot be attached to these guys, I can't pretend to be a cat forever. Soon or later they'll find out and they'll be disgusted and kick me out themselves. Like everyone else does.

~3rd person~

Lui looked down at the cat that gently purred on his lap. He smiled and stroked her fur. He didn't want to mention this strange feeling about this cat. He felt as if she were somewhat human. Like a hybrid. But he wasn't sure so he kept his jaw clenched shut, they'd think that he's weird. Which is true, he is weird. In a good way of course.

An image corrupted his mind. Sending shivers down his spine. Let's not mention that.

Evan sighed and trudged upstairs to his office. Lately he's been feeling a bit off. He just need a break from this superhero shit. He's been planning on taking the guys to Canada, he's been planning for a while. But it seems like all the villains are keeping him and his crew from going. Too many crimes are being committed nowadays.
Evan leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms. He gazed at the picture that sat on his desk. His family was smiling at the camera. Like the world wasn't crumbling beneath their feet, like the world was normal. It was normal once. He knew that. But it seemed surreal to him. The world always did him wrong.
A knock was heard at his door.
"Come in." Evan responsed. Delirious stepped in and closed the door behind him.
"Hey..." His hoarse voice sounded. Delirious has been sick for a couple of weeks now. Evan had told him to rest, but he always resisted, he told him it'd get better as the days go on.
He trembled a bit and looked at his feet.
"Just wondering... Umm. Could we have a break from this "superhero" stuff?" Del asked. Evan eyed him suspiciously. He shivered. Evan chuckled a bit.

"Why are you so scared?" Asked Evan. Del shrugged and looked at Evan.

"I'm afraid of you saying no." Del replied.

"Well I was thinking about taking you guys to Canada. But don't tell the guys yet, it's a surprise." Del flashed Evan a wide smile.

"Thanks Ev." Del said. He let out a small cough into his arm.

"And Del, get some rest. You deserve it. Also get some medicine." Evan said. Del nodded.

"Thanks again." Del said before walking out leaving Evan to himself.

Delirious got his name from his crazy laugh. Delirious hides lots of things. Like his face for example.
His real name noone ever mentions. He hates to hear it, even think it. Which sometimes when he thinks about his name he bangs his head on the wall. Luke usually calms him down.

Delirious hates his name because his mother gave it to him. Weird, right? He hated his mother. She was abusive and was an acholic. His father died before he could speak properly. He still remembers his interactions with his father.

Luke has been there for him since kindergarten. Never let him down. They are very good friends up to this day. Not to mention, Luke is the only person to know what Delirious looks like.

~Delirious's POV~

I bounded down the stairs and walked into the kitchen in search of medicine.
My throat pounded with pain. I cleared my throat and grasped the medicine. I opened it and took a gulp of it. My face crinkled up in disgust. The bitter taste of the medicine slid down my throat.
I turned the sink on and arced my head sideways. I gulped water to wash the awful taste out of my mouth. I turned to sink off and trudged to the living room.

That cat was sitting on Lui's lap. I had a bad feeling about this cat. It smells a bit different. Like one of us. I brushed off the feeling and sat in my chair.

~Y/n's POV~

I smelled the air. A strong scent flooded my nose. Smells like a hybrid. Is it a possibility that Lui's a hybrid as well?
No.
I must be imagining it.
There's no way. I jumped off of Lui's lap and jumped up the stairs. My eyes fell on Evans door. I walked up to it and meowed loudly. I heard a thump then footsteps.
The door lurched open and I was greeted with Evan. He smiled and picked me up.

"What's up girl?" He asked me as if I could talk. He closed his door.

There has to be a way that I can communicate with him. Maybe writing. Can I even write with my paws. I'll have to try.
He sat down in his seat.

I climbed on his desk and dragged a pen over to the paper that sat in his desk. I tried to write.
Puuuurrrrrfect.
It looked like a bunch of scribbles. I face pawed (heh do you get it, it's not face palm, it's face paw).

"Aww Mrs Kittens knows how to scribble." He awwed. Welp there goes that idea. There must be another way. I lifted my paw up and shot my nails out. Bingo!
