Lauren:

As soon as I wake up I already hear that my family is awake. As usual, my dad never falls asleep anymore. He is too worried about someone coming and attacking us through the night. In which I think is absurd knowing that we haven't had an attack in months. Yesterday was a rough day for us tho, the house 2 houses down the street is owned by the Cabellos. My families biggest enemy if you wanna say.

I jog down the stairs in hope that they haven't ate all of breakfast. My mom makes all 3 meals everyday, I'd say she is the sweetest one of our family all tho she can be a bitch if you really wanna fuck with her. I look at the table seeing only bacon and orange juice out on the table. Which means they ate everything, I must've slept in too late. Although its literally only 9:35 AM, I groan and grab a glass filling it with the orange liquid.

I grab a u ciggerate out of the pack on the table and walk out to the back porch, where I find my father and one of my cousins.

"Good morning Lauren, we have a big day ahead of us. We are running low on bullets and guns. Were gonna go visit with the Hemmings and grab some supplies."

I shake my head. The hemmings have been our allies and family friends for decades. Their son, Luke. Being my best friend. He literally is the only guy I can actually escape the hard reality of our lives with once in a while.

I spark my cig inhaling the chemicals, which makes me smile. I've been smoking cigarettes for about 3 years now. I remember the first time I did it, Luke dared me to steal one out of my father's pack. So I did. I laugh at the memory, realizing that my father is waiting for a response from me.

"Yeah, sounds good. I'll go get around after this." I give him a small smile, finishing my cigarette. My father and I have always been clothes, looking at it since I'm his only kid. My parents didn't want kids to began with because of their life style but one thing led to another. And well, here I am. Not that they're complaining cause I'm a lot of help for them.

I ash out my bogie and move on upstairs. I'm not one of those girls that take hours to get around. I rarely wear makeup, last time I did was at my cousins wedding, and well, it was all over me by the end of the night because of my intoxication. I look through my clothes and settle for a little bit bigger sweatshirt and some jeans. You'll never see me get dressed up or anything. What's the point? And its not common with the life style I live.

"LAUREN!" I hear my mother call, which means the boys are all ready to leave. Which means I need to hurry up, I quickly get dressed and look at myself in the mirror as if I'm accepting what I'm wearing. I quickly pull my timbs on, tying them. My dad has taught me on thing, always wear your work boots. He believes in hard labor as much as the next guy does. Before leaving I grab my stash of pot knowing that Luke and me are gonna be in of no help and well go to his pond out back of his house and smoke.

As I'm walking down the stairs I send Luke a quick message, 'what do you got to smoke out of? -ganggang-' I slide my phone in my pocket, kissing my mom on the cheek before running out to the jeep.

We pull out, and my cousin Brandon starts driving steadily down the road. Well were passing the Cabello residence I can't help but to see this brannete girl on the porch, she looks as if she's smoking a joint with this tanner girl with blonde hair. I frown, knowing them girls.

I've never really been the one to have friends that are women. I've been raised around men my whole life, hear and there I've met girls around my age. None I would become close with, girls are too gossipy in my  opinion. I stick to Luke, he is very trust worthy + I've know him my whole life. He knows me as I know him. It works.

My thoughts are interrupted when I hear the car slow down into a complete hault. We're here. I look out the window to the familiar green decading house with a warm smile plastard on my face. I get out of the truck.

Before I even get to the door, a skinny blonde boy comes out from behind it. It is Luke. He has a huge goofy smile on his face, his hands holding out wraps, joint wraps, or I already know he has bowls or bongs. I stick with the blunt wraps pointing at them, he nods his head viciously. I laugh to myself.

"Lucas, glad to see you got my text." He nods his head about to reply when my dad chimes in, "Where's your parents, Luke?" I watch as he looks up at the taller man and nods his head in the direction of the living room. We all continue on in the house. I follow Luke into the kitchen as he grabs us sodas and some food. I giggle him already knowing. I love spending time with my best friend, he has school as I don't.

I dropped out when I was 16, not because it was too hard or because of the people or anything. I didn't need it, I know everything I need to know. I was the top of my class when I was in school although I got in trouble A LOT. I got suspended from that school overall 17 times. For various things, beating people up, pulling stunts on the teachers you name it. I already know that im gonna be with the family business -per say if you'd like to call it that. Which we don't need any jobs cause we get enough money as it is.

"Lauren, are you ready?" Lukes Australian voice breaks me from my thoughts and I look over at him and nod my head. "Got suspended from school again, I don't know if you heard." I chuckled at hearing that, Luke was my partner in crime in school, we did everything together. He continues with on with school though. He said he likes to fuck with the people, and believe it or not he wants to be a mechanic.

"What did you do this time?" My voice cracks, as its been dry. I take one of the sodas out of Luke's hands as we walk outside towards our pond where we have everything set up.

"Remember that Louis kid? He was fucking with Ally. Which of course you know me, no one hits on her. I beat him up, I guess I broke his arm. Of course I feel no remorse." I smile at his words, ally and Luke aren't dating because they're both too stubborn to admit they like each other. But. They do, they mainly just act like their in a relationship, and fuck. Ally is one of the few girl friends I have. She is down to earth and chill, her family is another close friendship with mine. But not as close as the Jaureguis and the Hemmings.

"That's iconic. Louis should have knew what he had coming for him. Did Ally fuck with him back?" Luke sighs, I turn to my best friend and furrow my eyebrows. I've gotten Lucas feelings about Ally out of him. He does have feelings for her, but Ally, well, she's a whore. Not to bash her or anything, she likes sex.

"Found them kissing on each other. I didn't know what to do, so I beat him up. You know how I am with my feelings." I nod my head reassuring.

Luke starts rolling, as I continue with the conversation.

"Hey, Luke," he looks up at me, "Do you know if the Cabello have a daughter ? I know they had 3 sons." He laughs, and I stare at him in confusion.

"Yeah shes a goody, her names Camlia.  She doesn't even wanna get involved with the whole gang shit. She wants to be a singer, she's in most of my classes. She's quiet though, very pretty." I nod my head at the last statement. I've always been bisexual but the only one other than me that knows is Luke. My parents are highly against that kind of stuff so I will never tell them. I've never actually dated a girl, only guys. But I've found a few women attractive.

"Very pretty." When I saw Camila I was stunned, she was gorgeous. Also very intriguing. I find myself wanting to get to know her a little bit better.

Me and Luke continue on smoking and laughing. My thoughts still clouded with this girl.

Authors Note: sooooo I haven't even wrote an official book yet so here it issss :3 I'm sorry if it is literally trash. I'll try my best to get it going good. I have so many ideas for this :333333
