Gabriel
One Week Later
It has been an entire week, I haven't received a single top from this Sabrina girl. I have been watching her through the CCTV cameras I have in their room. She doesn't really do anything in the room, she's a very quiet person. She just sits in there, watching TV from time to time. But she mostly writes in a journal I gave her. She asked for on Christmas morning, so I gave her that and a few pens. I send her food, clothes and things for her shower and hygiene. The morning after I kidnapped her, we had a small conversation (not verbally).
Christmas Morning
I don't know why, but today I wanted to make breakfast for some odd reason, I guess it's the Christmas spirit, but not just for myself. I know I was wrong for treating Sabrina like I did last night, but I don't know if she's working with the Feds or another Mafia. I'm just going to wait and see if who is the real Sabrina Miller. I must admit she is gorgeous. I don't really date, especially woman of color. But when I first laid eyes on her I knew she was different than the other women. I haven't felt this way about woman since my ex, and I hate it because that bitch hurt me so bad a year ago.
When I came back New York from Princeton, with my graduate degree in Business. The first thing I did was go home so I could see Emma, my first love and my ex. Emma was staying at my house while I was on campus. I was planning on making her my wife and proposing to her that night at my graduation party.
When I walk inside my home, I hear a noise coming from upstairs. I go through the draw and grab my gun. I slowly walk upstairs, hearing the noise coming from the bedroom. I crack the door open to see Emma fucking another man.
I bust through the door surprising them both. Emma kept crying out that she was sorry, and she had her needs while I was at college. She told me the guy didn't mean nothing to her, but the guy didn't think so, for the simple fact he burst out they've been fucking for almost two years. I slowly glance at the guy to get a better look at him, he is one of the men that shorted my Dad a 100 grand when Dad helped him with his business. I aim and shoot my gun at him, killing him instantly and making Emma scream. I pull the ring box out of my pocket and tell her to pack her shit and get the fuck out of my house. Ever since that day, I've never tried to be close to strangers or a woman.
As I'm cooking, one of my maids, Maria, comes in the kitchen. "Good morning, Maria, Merry Christmas," I greet Maria as I'm flipping French Toast. She smiles, "Good morning Mr. Renzo. You didn't have to cook today I could've done that for you. It's Christmas, you should rest."
I shrug, flipping the French toast. "I'm fine, besides it's Christmas. I wanted you to work just for a few hours and receive your second Christmas bonus," I smile and hands her check. Her smile slowly begins to fade, causing mine to fade as well, "Maria is everything okay?" I ask her.
She looks down and sighs. "Well Mr. Renzo-"
"Gabe or Gabriel," I cut her off. "You are almost the same age as my mother." I chuckle.
"Well Gabriel, I am very fortunate for this job, you were the first person to give me a job when I first came to this country. I've been working for you for almost four years. But I'll have to resign soon, my husband job is moving to Texas and we're leaving in a few weeks. Gabriel, I'm really sorry, I can help find someone to replace me if you need too," Maria says, holding back her tears.
I grab her check, "Well I guess you don't need this check then," I tear her paycheck in front of face. She looks at me with shock look on her face. I smirk and go through a kitchen drawer to grab my checkbook. I write down a different price on the check, "You'll have enough money to pay your bills and go on a little shopping spree in Texas." I smile, ripping and handing her the check. She looks at the check and her eyes widen, "FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS?!" She yells. "Gabriel, I can't take this money, it's too much."
