Chapter 1- You Narcissistic Airhead
ΔOne Day BeforeΔ
*Peyton's Point of view*
Oh how much I hate lunch. At least, when my two best friends aren't with me. Yes, I'm let out earlier than Taylor an Abby. More like, my only friends. Abigail and I were new to this district the first day of freshman in high school. We were bullied by half of the kids there until Taylor came along. Everyone respected us after they heard taylor was our friend. Taylor Wilson, the daughter of the actor Dave Wilson, was so hostile to Abby and I and until then we became best friends. She was nice, popular and rich. Everyone admired her. Even though I'm her best friend, I try not to interfere with her popularity which she doesn't care about. Abby on the other hand, loves attention so that's how the two of them came close.
"Late as always, those stupid freshman's should learn better than to hog the hallways, it's only been the second month of school, we should be making them scared by now as seniors." Abby said as she sat down next to me.
I laughed at her remark. "Abby, don't you know better than to treat freshman's like crap, after all, you were once one of your own."
"Look at you, ruining my fun again." I laughed. She was the same old tough Abby. Her dad and mine have been partners since our birth. They are the richest man's here in Beverly Hills, California. They practically own all the buildings here. We were home schooled until four years ago where we started high school at Riverton High.
"Where's Taylor." I asked curiously. Taylor should be here earlier than Abby, she usually is.
Oh, did she not text you yet? She's sick and has to miss school today. I think she really is just ditching school to go on a date with that hot Abercrombie model." I smiled. Of course she'd make up a lame excuse to hang out with a college model.
I diverted my eyes to a table equal popular as ours.
Well at this moment it's not because Taylor isn't here, same with her three other cheerleader friends.
Ugh. The playboy of the school. He practically banged half the girls at this school wether they were a freshman or senior. He looked all casual sitting at his table with girls surrounding him and his friends from behind. Mostly him.
When he caught me staring at him, my smile faded as a smirk plastered his face. That no good of a boy thought I was smiling at him.
Like I would ever.
"I hat him. I hate him so much." I said
"By him, you mean Jack Moore, right?" I hadn't realized that Abby was listening to me since she was texting her boyfriend. Which by the way is Daniel Parker. Jack Moore's friend.
"I hate him too, he thinks that he can being Taylor's popularity to the bottom. Remember that one time where the whole school saw a video of Taylor making out with someone. Thank god it was dark and no one could see, but they can hear. He was the one who set that camera. God, who does that arsehole think he is."
"That was him. Does taylor know?" If taylor found out that he did it, she would rip his ego filled brain out.
"No, and we have to keep it that way. People look at Taylor as a slut sometimes. Mostly the girls who go out with Jack." Abby's right, if I tell Taylor, an even bigger rivalry would fuel up between the two of them. And boy do I not want to see Taylor in kill mode. She might not kill the person, but she will ruin them.
