Natalie's pov.

I finish my hamburger and throw my trash away.I head to the training room,running my fingers on the rough walls.I walk over the bridge that keeps us from falling into the chasm.

I turn a corner,when hands grab me from behind.The person covers my mouth and I bite down not trying to hurt the person, just trying to simply get away.Then I breath in the of a light breeze.

I suddenly know it is Ryder ,he always has the smell of a a light breeze. I stop trying to get away and stand still."what gave me away" he says in a whisper.

"Your scent" I say breathing his scent in.

"Really,you know my scent....uh that's freaky" he says, still in a whisper witch for some reason relaxes me.

"Well, we have been friend for what ....14 years,ever since I was two."

"Ok fine I forgive you for your creepiness .... oh I want to invite you to my 16th birthdate party" he adds, still in the soothing whisper.

"Ugh .....I will only go if there is cake" I say making my 'understand' face

"Fine only for you,and not at all because every birthdate has cake involved." He say sarcastically ,"where were you going, anyways."

"To meet you for our training, my dad said we can train with the initiates.
Let's go."

"Okay let's go" he says kneeling down," hop on" he says. I jump on his back and he races down the hall to the training room.I brush my fingers against the wall and look into the blue and red lights.

Finally we reach the training room, after we turned five corners. he puts me down and I walk in first."Hey Natalie" my dad says.I wave. "hey, Four." Ryder says

"Hey Ryder " my dad says

"Ready to start training today" my dad says.

"Of course!"we say together.

"Ok go line up with the initiates"

We run to the end of the line, as we do we hear a few 'heys' from the dauntless born.

When I come back from training I am tiers so I go home. I open the door my mom,dad, and older brother are waiting for me. oh good they have something to tell me. Wait how did my dad get here so fast?

The thought is lost by my dad saying, "we have good news" then my mom says Bree is coming home.

Bree is my older sister who runs the whole factions,but we don't get to see her much because she is always meeting up with the other experiment leaders outside of the fence, or observing the factions to see what to report.

"When!" I say, clearly exited.

"Tomorrow, you should tell Ryder and Justin. I know they feels like she is their older sister." my mom says

"Well I have to go tell Ryder and Justin, bye!" I quickly say.
(Ryder and Justin are brothers and Natalie is dating Justin and is best friends with Ryder).

Natalie: oh ....uh .......I'm not good at public speaking.

Uriah: Just do the disclaimer pansycake.

Natalie:* tackles Uriah to the ground*

Me: ahh children...well a grown man and child fighting brings back so many good memories of my traumatizing childhood.

Zeke: *runs in with no shirt* Veronica Roth owns us not Uhhh.... what's your name?

Me:SABRINA!

ZEKE: not Sabrina, wait how do you know about us if you don't own us?

Me: I will tell you when you are older you just aren't ready yet...😢 they grow up so fast.
