The rain poured buckets on Blackrock. Or what was left of it. It was in ruins, because Zoey was gone. Zoey was gone and Rythian was all alone. He only had his own thoughts to keep him company, the rain made it worse. He didn't even care that there was a hole in the library, nor did he care that the science facility under the house was ruined. He was numb, nothing mattered. It was just a stupid distraction, he didn't love her, or at least, that was what he's telling himself. Rythian walked around the house aimlessly, telling himself that he was planning to destroy Duncan and Sjin, but he never actually put it into practice. No Raven to slap him around either, she'd been gone for months. Peace at last. He felt no sorrow, no regret, no grief. So all he did was to lay on the bed and tried to relax.

'That's what you're telling yourself now, isn't it Rythian?' Came a familiar distorted voice. Raven. 'It's not that you don't feel grief. You're too full of regret, pain, and sorrow to feel it. It happened when mother died, you know. I didn't cry. Then when I thought about it, it wasn't because I wasn't sad. It was because I was too sad, so I became numb. Rythian, would you be a dear and press that green button on the wall?' Raven's voice was almost like a beacon of light from above, bringing clarity, bringing back his feelings. Rythian jumped up and ran to the panel, and he pressed the green button. Raven materialised before him, instead of her first entrance, which lacked grace. She smiled at him.

"Hello, Rythian." She whispered, patting his head tenderly, like how a mother would. He looked down at his feet.

"Hi. Raven." He said, much like a child caught in wrongdoing. Raven looked around the room.

"Wow, this is a mess. Just like how you have been since she left huh." She commented, and Rythian snarled without saying anything. Raven whistled as she walked out of his room, and looked around.

"Zoey misses you. She's really, really scared now. She's sorry you know, for leaving you, and for everything."

"How did you even know."

"I'm your sister Rythian. I know everything." Raven said casually, but her face bore no expression. He sighed, but he noticed something new on his sister's face.

"Sister... You're wearing-"

"A face mask." She finished for him, as she looked out the window, sighing. She turned back to look at her brother.

"Watch." Raven stuck her hand out, and as the rain fell onto her hand it glitched madly, and then, she vanished. Before he could comprehend what had happened, Raven appeared right next to him, purple sparks falling around her. She buried her face in her hands, and Rythian noticed she wore gloves on one hand but not the other.

"It's spreading Rythian. Faster than ever. I'm going to die Rythian. I'm going to turn into one of those things and you're gonna kill me. Rythian I'm so sorry..." Raven started to cry. She had never cried before, or at least Rythian had never seen her cry before. It wasn't a pretty sight. All he could do was hug his sister and try to reassure her.

"Shhhh shhh, no sis, sister don't - don't blame yourself it isn't your fault or anything like -"

"It doesn't matter who's fault it is! I'm going to turn into one of them, those things you hate."

"But I don't hate YOU!" He exclaimed, frustrated. His sister was stubborn as always. She sighed and wiped her tears.

"You know what, you're right I'm being silly. I just came to tell you about Zoey, that's all." Raven forced a smile as Rythian shook his head.

"Look, if you still love her go find her. It's not like you don't know where she is!" Raven said, and Rythian turned away, shrugging.

"Zoey's dead."

"Only if you believe so. And you don't believe that, do you now." She said, hovering a hand over the panel, focusing hard. A mix of white and purple sparks appeared around her hand, before a new button materialised.

"Here. To Jeff's Enclave."

"No point. Zoey is dead."

"Oh quit that! JUST GO!" She grabbed Rythian's hand and slammed it against the yellow button, and Rythian watched as his surrounding faded, and Raven smiled at him, waving goodbye. Before he knew it, he found himself underground, surrounded by the strangest things by far he had seen. Mushrooms. Everywhere. For some odd reason. Where was he? It appeared to be a small marketplace, with food and other things. Even computer parts. He remembered Zoey, and sighed. Rythian looked around, and knew that there was only one way to go.

Walk onwards, and find Zoey.

Do it for Zoey.

For the girl you love.

A/N I can't believe I am doing this.
