"Hey! Who's there?" I heard a paniced voice, not far away from where I was. How could I be so careless? I started to walk slowly away from the voice and hid behind a tree. To my amazement, I saw a girl, looking very frightened, walk towards where I was standing earlier. I smiled. She probobly lost her group, or, they might have abandoned her... she didn't look very strong. She was wearing a dirty green t-shirt and brown knee-length pants. But something was strange... I was wearing the same shirt she was... same color, and everything! "Jake? Are you there?" She said, barely whispering. Who is Jake? Maybe someone from the group that left her behind... should I help her? Maybe it's a trap, ot maybe she's stronger than she looks? I'll have to take my chances, because I really need to team up with someone, I was alone for so long. I almost revealed myself when I saw a guy on the tree above her. He looked strong and healthy, I was sure he's in a group. Did he see me earlier, before I hid behind this tree? He jumped down from the tree and pushed the girl backwards. Alarmed, she fell down on her back and sreamed for help. No one came. I had to do something! I picked up a few stones from the ground, and took my sling-shot out of my pocket. I was shaking. I can't afford to miss. I aimed it at his head and- missed. He frowned, and started looking for the person that just missed him. This is my only chance or I'll get caught! I took aim- he now looked right at me- but I didn't miss this time. I got him right in the head. I ran over to the girl. "Are you okay?" I said to her, helping her up. "Yeah, thank you so mu-" she stopped mid-sentence. She looked at me wide-eyed and pointed. I turned around and-
