Waking up from the ice had been shocking enough before Steve Rogers found the words of his soul mate printed across his left shoulder blade. Before he had crashed the ship he had been one of the few people without words hence the surprise one day when one of his best friends Sam Wilson had said 'I knew you soulmate would be something special' Steve had just looked at him confused from over his shoulder causing Sam to raise his eye brows and point to his shoulder.

Steve quickly could a mirror and saw the words 'holy shit, your Captain fucking America' in neat black handwriting across his shoulder, how could he not have seen this sooner? He had questioned himself that day and every other day since he'd caught a glimpse of them.

Justice Jaspers on the other hand had been born with the words 'Ma'am are you alright?' wrapped around her right ankle. She was glad it was in a place like that because it made it easier to hide. It wasn't as if she was ashamed of her word but she wanted to live a little before becoming tied down for life. Besides, it wasn't as if everyone's words lead to happy ever after.
