I wake up to something bright shinning in my eyes. Immediately I cringe and shut my eyes. God damn, its giving me a headache. Where the hell am I? Slowly I open my eyes again to see where I am. I look around to see a middle aged red headed lady going through some papers. Turning around she sees that I am awake "Oh finally you woke up, you poor thing. You must have hit your noggen quiet hard but your lucky that young man was there to help you or your injuries could have been worse" she mutters so fastly I barely understand her. She shoves a cup of water and a pill in my face " Here take this , it will help with the headache. Its Advil honey." Slowly sitting up I wince at the pain in my head and take the cup and pill swallowing it down fast. Handing it back I ask " So what happened?" As I look around to what I figured out to be the room as the nurses office.          

She looks at me saying "Well you fell and hit your head but you'll be fine plus Xavier was there to help you , such a sweet young man even though he is a very stubborn thing." She looks to be in thought then shakes her head. "Where are my manners? I am Cindy, school nurse if you haven't figured that out by now " she says laughing.

   Getting up I grab my bag on the chair and realize I'm late for school. Great I am late on the first day. Good going Lilly. "Well thank you for helping me Cindy, I should probably get going I'm already late and by the way my name is Lilly, its nice to meet you!" I give her a smile and she smiles back. "No problem sweetie. Oh! Wait before you go here is a note so you don't get in trouble! Have a good day sweetie." As I'm heading to the door I grab the note from her " Again thank you for today." I yell over my shoulder as I walk out.

I look at the time on my phone and see that its almost time for lunch. As I'm walking toward what I think is the direction to the office I hear someone yelling behind me " Hey! Wait up!!" I realize they are talking to me because I'm the only person in the hall way. Turning around I see a small dirty blonde haired girl running up to me. Raising my eyebrow wondering what she wants "Yes?". She bends over breathing hard trying to talk but quickly decides she's to out of breath to speak, amused I watch her hold up her hand as in saying 'hold on'. " Jesus woman you walk fast and well I don't blame you look how tall you are. Anyways I'm Miranda and you are Lilly right? The new girl who stood up to Xavier? That was awesome. I have been friends with him since before I can remember and no one has stood up to him. I mean don't get me wrong deep deep down he's a great guy but he is just such an ass. Anyways its lunch time wanna sit with me and my friends?You totally are in my good books for not falling to your knees and beg for forgiveness just because he's hot. Wait, unless you already have plans, then never mind and oh god I'm talking a lot and you haven't said a thing! I'm so sorry I tend to do that a lot!" I stare at her with wide eyes trying to soak in what she just said. I shift uncomfortably "Um yeah I'm Lilly and I'm guessing Xavier is the guy from this morning and it was nothing. I wasn't gonna put up with him treating me like that.Especially over a parking space" I say. No matter how hot he is....but not the point.

She looks at me for a second and I start to wonder If I did something wrong. " You know what I like you already. So you want to sit with me and my friends at lunch?? I know its hard to make friends here. All the guys are dumbasses or creeps and the girls are all snooty bitches."she says with a large smile and pleading eyes, I mean how could I say no? She talks to me as if we are already good friends and have known each other forever. Smiling I decided I liked her, she was a bit to energetic for me but maybe an outgoing person will help me get out of my shell. Plus she seems really nice. " yeah sure I'll hang out with you at lunch. I just have to go to the office to check in. I'll see you in 20 minutes?" She starts to jump in excitement "Yay!! New friend! Anyways I'll meet you in front of the lunch doors? And don't worry the group will love you! I got to go I was suppose to be back in class like ten minutes ago!!"
 
   Watching her run off in the other direction towards what I'm guessing is her class, I sigh and turn around headed to the office. Hopefully her group will like me and I'll make some friends.God knows I need some. I need to start living life again and being happy. Taking a Deep breath I close my eyes and sgake my head. No dont think about it now.Well let's hope that my senior year won't be total shit. And who knows? Maybe I'll love it here and live happily ever after?? Ha yeah right.
