I finally got back to my dorm room after a long day at school; my class had a really important writing essay.
“I don’t think I can ever write again!” said Isabella lying on her bed.
“I know after that essay I’m just so tired!” I replied throwing my bags on the floor and sat on my bed.
“Do you want to go grab a burger, I’m starving?” asked Isabella.
“Sure! In n Out Burger sound good?” I asked.
“Of course!” replied Isabella grabbing her purse.

We got to In n Out Burger and ordered. We were sitting down waiting for our number to be called, and then we saw them. One Direction! They had just walked in and we couldn’t take our eyes of them because we’re such huge fans. After they ordered we still had our eyes on them. The boys came and sat right next to us! Isabella and I were sitting there whispering to each other about what to say. I heard Zayn say hello and he was looking right at us. I couldn’t speak because I was so shocked and then Isabella said “hey”. Niall, Liam, Louis and Harry said “hey” as well. Isabella elbowed me to say hi so I came out with a weird sounding hey. The conversation went silent.
“I’m starving!” said Niall in his Irish accent, after a minute of silence.
“Me too!” I said and then Niall smiled.
“So what are your names?” asked Louis.
“I’m Leah and this is Isabella.” I replied.
“Call me Izzy” said Isabella.
“I’m Liam and ….” started Liam.
“We know who you are.” interrupted Izzy.
“And just so you know were really big fans!” I said.
“Cool, so do you guys live around here?” asked Niall.
“Yeah, the south building at UCSB.” I said.
“Awesome, what are you girls their for?” questioned Louis.
“Writing, it’s so boring!” answered Izzy.
“You guys don’t live around here, do you?” I asked.
“We actually just moved here” replied Niall.
“Do you think you guys could maybe show us around sometime?” asked Louis.
“Of coarse we could!” said Izzy as fast as a cheetah; I smiled knowing she loves Louis the most.
We all exchanged numbers, then left when we were finished our burgers. On the drive back Izzy and I were completely silent but we both had huge smiles on our faces from meeting our celebrity crushes. Even better they asked for our numbers!

We got back to our room and just went crazy, Izzy and I couldn't stop screaming. We were like little kids in a candy store. I stopped screaming and asked her if that really did just happen. Izzy was just about to start crying she was so happy but then her phone beeped. It was a text. She sat down and read the text, she didn't say a word. About a minute later she threw her iPhone on my bed. I picked it up and read the message she had just gotten, it was from Louis! How much better could this get? The text said "Hey Izzy it’s Louis, the boys and I were wondering if you and Leah want to go somewhere on Friday, got any ideas of a good place?" We started screaming all over again and I asked her what she was going to reply. It took us 20 minutes to write back because we wanted it to be perfect, Izzy replied saying "Hey, how about 6 o'clock at Paseo Nuevo? Theirs a nice pizza place their." After a couple more seconds Louis answered with an okay. Izzy and I were up all night thinking about how it would go, but then at 11 o'clock we remembered we had a big paper due tomorrow! We stayed up until about 1 am finishing the papers up then went to bed but I couldn't sleep. All I could think about was how Friday would go. Only 40 more hours until we get to see them again.
