I dug my feet into the ground, choosing my position. My gun felt heavy on my shoulder and I grinned. Another perfect attack idea. I looked around, trying to see if Gunner was in position. I saw the shine reflecting off his gun. I looked for the signal. Our plan was smart, we would assassinate them quickly, the streets being a perfect place for an attack. I sat on the roof of a large building. I knew not what it was, only who I was told to attack. I saw Ace in the other building. I looked for Flame. I didn't see him but knew he was there. The earpiece I was wearing buzzed.

"Russell, are you in position?" I heard Echo ask. His rough voice responded. "Yes, Russel in," I smirked, Russell was our sharpshooter, he never missed.

"Luke, sorry I meant Flame, ready?" Echo corrected herself. "Bow drawn and ready." Was his reply. He was the youngest. Luke's weapon was simply a bow and arrow that shot explosive flames, thus his name; Flame.

"Ace, Eleazar, Bullet, are you three in?" She asked. Their responses were quick and short.

"Ace is in." "Eleazar in." "Bullet here." Bullet was Gunner, he just preferred being called bullet.

"Alright, what about Zora and Will?" I smirked, Echo probably said our names next to each other to tease us.

I heard Will's familiar voice. "I am in position." "Standing by, hey after this how about we get something to eat?" I asked, already knowing the answer. I heard a facepalm hit Echo's headset.

"Alright, you all know where you should be, the first wave of prisoners is coming through in thirty-four seconds. Load your guns." This time it was Jasmine's voice. I grabbed my gun off my shoulder. My brown hair got in the way but I quickly pulled it aside. I should probably get a haircut, it now reached past my lower back.

I prepped my gun quickly and pulled my hood up, then finally put my black mask on. It covered my eyes and went down past my chin. My black outfit I wore was bulletproof, flame resistant, and waterproof. It fit me perfectly, covering every part of me besides my feet, neck, hands, and face. My mask protected my neck and face, and my black boots covered my feet. They were tall and reached my knees. The belt wrapped around my waist carried everything I needed. It was covered in guns and knives. I was ready to kill.

I saw Ace motion to me. He told me that I was getting too close to the edge. I pushed myself back farther. They couldn't see me yet. Me, Ace, Will, and Bullet were going to drop down on them from above, we had already connected our ropes to the building, and we were all hopefully ready.

I watched as a parade of bound, tied up people walked through. Their captors all heavily armored, ready to fight. Then, gunshots. Russell, Eleazar, and Flame, the diversion. I tugged on my rope and jumped off the roof. It dropped me down slowly, as I fired my gun at the guards, they fell to the ground, blood jumping from them. I saw as out of the corner of my eye Ace, Will, and Bullet all dropping down too.

"Flame, bombs away!" I heard Echo command. I saw as Flame grabbed his bow and fired, a flame shooting through the air and hitting a group of officials, an explosion taking their place.

I heard Russell curse. "Not so close to me Luke." He was of course teasing, a mere compliment for Flame. I watched as each person I hit fell to the ground, blood spurting from where I had hit them. My feet hit the ground. I didn't unbuckle myself from it. Only me and Will weren't supposed to do that. Ace and Bullet unbuckled themselves and began to fight. I, on the other hand, ran as fast as I could, still connected to the rope, and pushed off a wall. The pressure made me spring off of it and as if I was flying, I swung around, shooting whoever I saw. It's harder for them to hit me if I'm a moving target.

Every once and a while I would get too close to the ground, and whenever that happened I would just kick someone. One after one the people fell to the floor, their limp bodies like dolls. My head hurt. I had to keep reminding myself I was saving the captured people. Except still, everyone I killed made me go more and more insane.

"Okay, get out of there." I heard Echo's voice in my ear. I saw Will swinging. Ace and Bullet were reconnecting their ropes. Then I saw it. One of the men were making a run for the machine gun.

"Hold on a second," I said quickly, clipping the rope off from my belt and running at him. I was the closest, and the sharpshooters couldn't risk it, he was too close to civilians. I aimed my gun and fired but I was out of ammo. I grabbed my knife from my belt and threw it at him, it struck his shoulder but he kept going.

"The bombs are going off any second, you need to get out of there," Echo commanded. I didn't listen. The bombs were going to go off at the building next to us, tons and tons of commanders were in there. The commanders were part of a secret organization that had taken over everything, capturing and enslaving anyone who disagreed with them. If we could take them out then we would be set for a long time.

"Forget the man, we need you to retreat!" I heard Will shout. "She'll make it." Ace said calmly. Glad to see someone had faith in me. I kicked the man in the chest, blood spilled from his mouth and I felt like gagging at the sight of it. I saw fear, true fear, hidden in his eyes.

"I'll let you go, but you cannot harm any more people," I told him. He stood up without hesitation and ran away, without thanks or anything.

"What are you playing at Ammo?" I heard Bullet ask, using my code name.

"Twelve seconds until it blows." I heard Echo say. I ran for the rope, my feet carrying me faster than I had ever ran before, it must've been the adrenaline rush. I stumbled and fell but stood up and ran some more. I was in the center now, bullets fired at me but I kept going like it was nothing. I grabbed the rope and yanked it, it began to pull up, as it pulled me I clipped it to my waist and felt the blast as the building only two down exploded, fire and ash flying everywhere.

I piece of wood hit me, the rope swinging, hanging me like a limp doll. I coughed, smoke was everywhere. I was almost at the top. I cried out as someone shot me. I was bulletproof, but it would still bruise. I reached the top. Clipping the rope off of me I began to run some more. The jet was nearby, I had to reach it. I jumped from building, my feet hitting the hard cement on the next one, and continued to go.

"Zora report, we can't track you, where are you?" I heard the comm say. "I'm here, nearing the North West corner, how many civilians died." I heard a sigh of relief come from a few intercoms and heard Jasmine, "None." Now it was my turn to breathe a breath of relief.

"Jet is nearing your area." Her voice said. I saw it approach me and as it got lower to the ground the wind around me swirled like a tornado. I got on it quickly and sank into one of the chairs. Eleazar was piloting. I ripped the mask off my face and set it into the duffel bag at my feet. I was riding with Luke, Gunner, Eleazar, and Russell. Luke gave me a quick hug. So did Gunner. Russel just patted me on the back. Luke and Gunner were the youngest, Luke being eighteen, Gunner nineteen. I myself was twenty-one. Eleazar was Russell's twin sister, they were both twenty, as was Ace and Jasmine. Will and Echo were my age.

I panted quietly. "How long till we get to base?" I asked.

"Two hours, you might want to take a rest," Russell said, crossing his arms, his muscles showing. He had blond hair and was beginning to get a beard. His arm was tattooed with pictures, none which I could identify. His other arm was clear, but also muscular. I ruffled his hair and I slumped into the seat. Gunner and Luke were next to me. Both were like siblings. They had stuck with me since I was thirteen. I felt myself slowly drift into a dark, dreamless, and surprisingly quiet sleep.
