When the lights turned on automatically I groaned and put my pillow over my head. I stayed there for a few more minutes before giving up and standing. I pulled my black armored clothing on. I have a few replicas of that outfit so I could wash the other one. Then I left. Heading to the food area, I took a sharp turn, only to run into someone. It was Lee.

"Oh, Ammo!" She chuckled awkwardly. I tried to smile although it was difficult to hide my stomach growling.

"Where are you going?" She asked. "What do you mean?" I said, crossing my arms.

"Besides breakfast I mean." She added quickly. I shrugged. "I was going to see if I could run a mini mission, why?" I stood awkwardly, hands in my pockets, trying to see behind her, I could smell the sweet scent of waffles. I looked at her body language. She was nervous, wanting something, eager almost.

"Is there something you want?" I asked. She shook her head very quickly. I knew something was up.

"No, I was only going to ask you something." I nodded to let her continue. "Are you and Will a thing? Like are you two, do you guys, are you two together?" My mouth hung over.

"No, me and him? Never!" It was my turn to chuckle awkwardly. "Good because I really want to get to know him better and I was scared you would dislike me for that!" She laughed and smiled. I tried to return a smile but I suddenly felt like leaving. I walked away without a word. I probably should have said something, but no words could form in my head.

I ate quicker than my stomach could handle. right when I had finished I headed straight to the main room. Jasmine and Echo were starting up their equipment. Chatting wildly, they paid no notice to the fact that my face was red; angry.

"I would like a mini mission." My voice was low, almost with a growl. Echo nodded to me.

"Alright, I have one for you. There is a blocked outbuilding in sector five. It could be a one person mission if you would just clear it of cameras. Nothing risky or anything At most there might be a couple guards to the surveillance room but overall, it is a simple task." I nodded, excitement crawling into me.

"Alright, how should I get there?" I asked, putting on my leather gloves. "Sector five is only three jump-sets away but I would advise having someone drop you off and pick someone to pick you up," Jasmine told me, cracking her knuckles. I nodded and turned away, heading to the weapons room. I unlocked the door with a simple fingerprint and went to my main and personal weapon shelf. It wasn't the biggest, Gunner's was the biggest, but it wasn't small. I grabbed a few guns and strapped them on, along with a few knives. I grabbed my mask and strapped it to my belt also. Then, securing finally, my small bomb only I could activate, it would go off when I pushed a button on my watch. Last, my earpiece, it just slid right over.

I pushed my hair into my hood and straightened my shirt. I tightened my boots, making sure they were tight, and I wouldn't fall over. My heart drummed quickly as I grabbed the most dangerous weapon we had ever had. It is called an Exterminator. A device of my own making. Long ago when I was only a young teen, the master of the rebellion gave me a job. He told me these exact words; "Listen here Zoralynn, I know myself this rebellion is falling apart. Our goal is to keep you alive, would you like to know why?" I remember my younger self, nodding with excitement.

"It is dangerous. Each mission you go on, try to get a bomb in place in every opposite base. One day maybe place it on this base! Then use this." He had handed me a small shot. Moving his arm carefully, he ejected the needle into my skin. "That way, if you go down, it all goes with you."

Those words I had often pondered. I only now know their meaning. If I die every bomb I have placed will blow up. If I go down, they go down too. I thought it was a dumb idea, after all, leaving the fate of everything in the hands o a child? But as I soon learned, I was the best-trained fighter of all the other rebellion members. Now that there are new members I am not sure if that still stands.

I went into the food area and looked around. "Ace, you mind dropping me off?" I asked. He shook his head.

"Sorry, I was planning to do some more training." He said. I nodded, understanding. Next, I went to Eleazar. "Can you drop me off?" I asked.

"When?" She replied, taking a drink from her smoothie. "Now." She shook her head. I went on.

The only other pilot was Lee. I groaned and went over to her room. I knocked on the door and she opened it.

"Wil-" She stopped, seeing it was me. "I mean, what do you want?" I suddenly disliked her more.

"A ride to Sector five." She nodded thoughtfully. "Is Will coming?" She asked. I rolled my eyes.

"No." She looked into the distance, most likely thinking. "Fine, let me get ready first." I moved out of the way as she went over to the weapons room. She went to her shelf. Her weapons weren't that effective. She had a couple guns and two hand grenades. She put a gun on her belt and grabbed a hand grenade and a couple knives, strapping them to her belt.

"I only need a ride," I said again. "Yes, I know. Just being safe you know." I looked at her in disbelief. "Sector Five is a medical and electronics facility!" She didn't move, only nodded.

"I know." I tried not to roll my eyes and followed her to her jet. Getting into the back I opened the small box on my belt and began prepping it. It was only an ammunition kit. I propped up my gun so that might clean it.

"So can I just drop you off? I was going to run a mini-mission too, just tell me when you need to be picked up. I'll be in sector six." I nodded. I gazed out of the window, looking at the beautiful trees and forests. But, they got blocked away, huge walls stood, the way into the sectors. The was twenty sectors total. We have never been able to successfully do a mission in the twentieth and nineteenth. That is how the rebellion lost. now us, a new rebellion, are working our way up. Sector one and two were the agriculture, where all the food and such was grown. Mines were on the sides of the walls, all the resources they seemed to need were there.

The walls were huge, no one could see the forest from that side. Sector three and four had all of the poorer people and a ton of houses. That was where a ton of metal was formed, and where things were built. We were coming up by three. We stayed close to the ground. It is hard to travel by jet, but we do what we can. She lowered me down lower and lower. I inhaled sharply and felt myself choke.

"What are you doing in six?" I asked, turning to Lee. "I and Will are going on a short rescue mission. We make a great team!" I gritted my teeth. "I think he really likes me! Have you noticed he's attractive?" She said. I shrugged, mentally restraining myself from slapping her. The jet touched the ground and I got to the door, happy to be away from her.

"Hey Lee," I began She swung around her head, looking me straight in the eyes. "Tell Will something for me. Tell him that Ammo said to keep his eyes up." She nodded.

"So give me a call to tell me where you'll be so I can pick you up. Then I can find you."

"No, how about I find you. And remind him a few times to keep his eyes up." I smirked and dropped to the ground.
