Part 1.
An alien in my head
He came out of no where
In the middle of the night
Crash landing in my body,
He eats all my food
He sees out of my eyes
And listens with my ears
He sometimes uses my mouth to speak
And my hands to explore

Part 2.
He gets curious about silly things
And can't remember things like the ABC's or when to say good morning
And sometimes he lashes out at people
Who only mean to help
I'm sorry, he's trying.

Part 3.
He doesn't like bright lights.
He hates loud noises, and gets scared at movie theaters and crowded stores.
He doesn't like school.
He whispers to me that it makes him feel stupid, but I have to go anyway.
He likes retro stuff, the music and fashion.
I think that's because it reminds him of the last time he came to earth.

Part 4.
It's hard to talk to people.
They catch on fast what I'm hiding.
I tell him to be quiet, but he's so lonely, you see.
He just wants to say hi, but it always comes out wrong.
He likes to talk about the stars, and nature at nighttime because he loves that a lot,and art.
He's very cultured.
But he doesn't know the words to describe his feelings yet.
So he sits quietly until everyone leaves.

Part 5.
I've told a few of my friends about him.
They have aliens too.

Part 6.
He talks about other places I can't go to yet.
He says we can do it. That we can just take off for the stars when ever we want.
I just have to want to go enough.
My friends say that their aliens say the same thing.
We talk about where they want us to go a lot.
We can't tell anyone though, or they might not let us leave.

Part 7.
Sometimes when I dance, or sing, it cheers him up.
We get along best then.

Part 8.
One of my friends listened to her alien.
She wasn't planning on going home with him, but apparently he made some pretty convincing points.
She tried, but her takeoff was botched.
I heard about it later. She's never said how she's feels about it.
Her alien still says she can do it.

Part 9.
There are specialists, we've talked to a few.
But they always say we can't go home yet.
That it wouldn't be smart, and that he'll get used to earth.
Afterward I've talked to him.
He says that earth isn't that so bad, but he knows what he wants.
I agree with him.

Part 9.
Sometimes he gets violent. But I can't blame him.
He wants to know why I'm not building a rocket RIGHT NOW I WANT TO GO NOW PLEASE LET ME GO HOME NOW PLEASE PLEASE I MISS IT I HATE IT HERE I JUST WANT TO GO JUST LET ME GO and I have to go hide somewhere people can't see and cry for him. We're okay most days. We're fine.

Part 10.
He's getting more impatient lately.
I'm trying to help him with school, but he can't pay attention.
His grades are really bad. He says we should leave before they get worse.
He's sorry that I have to get in trouble for him, but he can't help it. I know he can't, but it doesn't make it any easier for me. It's alright.
I'm thinking it might be time for a blast off soon! I'm so excited!
