Chapter 21: Wedding Reception/The Big News

Leena's POV:

"Well, we made it," I said to Optimus and he chuckled and gave me a kiss on the lips. "We're finally husband and wife," said Optimus and I nodded my helm and kissed him. "Ewwww. Mommy, Daddy, not in front of me please." We looked down to see Myrina covering her optics with her servos. The both of us, Optimus's groomsmen, my parents, bridesmaids, best man and our officiant Ratchet and maid of honor Arcee laughed and Optimus picked her up and we gave her a kiss on her helm. Then we all continued to take photos of us and then we made our way back to the woods for the reception. My parents, his groomsmen, my bridesmaids, his best man Bumblebee and my maid of honor Arcee were introduced first. Then it was our turn. "Ladies, gentlemen, mechs and femme's, please welcome for the very first time as a married couple Mr. and Mrs. Optimus Prime and their daughter Myrina," said our DJ Jazz and everyone got up and cheered for us as we made our way to the dance floor. Then Optimus gave Myrina to Arcee and it was just me and him on the dance floor for our first dance. The song that we danced to "Fall" by Clay Walker. It was actually a song that Optimus would play for me when I was pregnant with Myrina and when I was having a bad day and he played that song for me and he made me feel better by playing that song and giving me the love that he would give me all the time. I'm so lucky and blessed to have a loving and caring mech like Optimus. While we were dancing, I rested my helm on his right shoulder and we both embraced each other and Optimus kissed the right side of my helm. "I love you Aleena and I always will with all my spark," Optimus whispered into my audio receptor. "I love you too Optimus....and I always will love you and our precious sparkling with all my spark," I whispered back to him and we both kissed each other. "Speaking of that Aleena, I was wondering if you would like to-" "Extend our family?" I asked Optimus. "How'd you know I was going to ask you that?" Optimus asked me. I chuckled and said,"I guess I'm a mind reader." Optimus and I laughed and he wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck cables and we kissed each other passionately. Then the song was over and everyone cheered and Optimus and I went to the head table to join our Myrina, bridesmaids, groomsmen, best man Ratchet and maid of honor Arcee. Everyone of Optimus's groomsmen and my bridesmaids and Arcee did their speeches about us and then it was Ratchet's turn. Ratchet cleared his throat and said,"Hello everyone. For those of you who don't know me, my name's Ratchet and I'm one of Optimus's closest friends and I'm the medic on our team. Can I just say how amazing these two lovebots look tonight." Everyone yelled,"Woohoo," and we heard someone do a flirtatious whistle and we all laughed. "Ok. So first of all, congratulations to the both of you Leena and Optimus," said Ratchet. "Thank you," we both said in unison. "You're welcome. Ok. First, I'm going to start off with Optimus. I've actually been really great friends with him for many years. Also, for those who don't know, I've actually known him before he was made a Prime. He was originally an archivist at the Iacon Hall of Records named Orion Pax. He was young, full of life and very smart. Years later, he's now Optimus Prime. Even though Optimus has changed physically, he still is the same bot that we all know and love. Optimus, you are great friend and also, in my optics and spark, a great brother to me and, as a brother and friend, I love you. Now to Aleena, aka Emily. You are a wonderful, kind, loving, caring, protective and not to mention the strongest femme here on Team Prime," said Ratchet and we all laughed a little at that. "She's a lot stronger than me. That's actually true," said Optimus jokingly and we laughed at that too. "That is true. She's able to beat him in arm wrestling," said Ratchet. Optimus put his elbow on the table and I said,"No baby. Not today," and we laughed. Ratchet laughed, cleared his throat and said,"Anyways, Aleena has been a great teammate and friend to all of us here on the team and a great lover to Optimus and wonderful mother to their daughter Myrina. Whenever we're feeling down, she always finds ways to bring a smile on all of our faces. Whenever we're scared, she knows how to make us feel better. Aleena and Optimus, you both are very fortunate to have each other in your lives and we are also very fortunate to have you both not only as teammates but also great friends too. May you both be blessed throughout the years to come as husband and wife. We love you both so much. Cheers to you guys." "CHEERS!" we all yelled in unison and clanked our glasses of drinks and energon together and Optimus and I gave Ratchet a hug and told him that his speech was wonderful. Then after having desert, we heard Jazz say,"Now let's get this party bump-bump-bumping," ("Shark Tale" reference) and we all made our way to the dance floor. Optimus and I did the bouquet and garter toss and all of us danced to upbeat songs like "Celebrate" by Pitbull, "Danza Kuduro" by Don Omar, "Boom Boom Pow" by the Black Eyed Peas (clean version), "Forever" by Chris Brown, "Turn Up the Music" by Chris Brown and the list went on and on.

Then for the final slow dance, all of the couples including Optimus and I danced to the song "Only You Can Love Me This Way" by Keith Urban.

Optimus wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped mine around his neck cables and we put our helms together and kissed each other passionately. "Optimus, how much do you love me?" I asked him. He chuckled softly and said,"I love you with all my spark. I promise that I will always love you no matter what. I also promise that I will protect you from anything or anyone that will try to hurt you. You're my wife and I love you so much." "Awww. I love you too my sweet husband," I said to him and we kissed each other again. "I have a special wedding present for you Optimus," I said to him. "And what would that be my precious Aleena?" he asked me. I smiled, took his right servo and placed it on my stomach. Optimus's face lit up and he smiled and said,"Are you-" "Yes my love. I am," I said to him and he picked me up and spun me around once and put me back down on the ground and we kissed each other. "Oh Aleena. That's wonderful. Let's tell our family and friends and Myrina right now," said Optimus. "Let's," I said and I picked up Myrina and we gave her a kiss on her cheeks and we went over to the DJ stand and told Jazz and Myrina the great news. Myrina squealed with excitement and she and Jazz gave us a hug. "Alright everyone listen up. Optimus, Aleena and Myrina have something important to say to all of us," said Jazz and he handed the big microphone over to Optimus. "Good evening everyone. Thank you everyone, all humans and autobots, for coming to our wedding today. We are happy that you were able to join us tonight. My wife Aleena just told me something very important and we told Myrina and Jazz about it and Myrina actually wanted to tell you what Aleena told me. Sweetspark, what do you want to tell everyone here tonight?" said Optimus and he handed the mic over to me and I held it up and Myrina's mouth. She looked at us and we said,"Go ahead." She looked at everyone and said with excitement in her voice,"I'M GONNA BE A BIG SISTER!" Everyone screamed with excitement and congratulated all of us. They were all so excited and happy for us and we were looking forward to welcoming our new sparkling into the world. Then we said goodbye to everyone that came to our wedding and Arcee, Ratchet, Bumblebee, Smokescreen, Bulkhead, Optimus, Neera, Irina, Myrina, Miko, Jeremy, Jack, Raf and I went through the ground bridge and made it back to base. Our human friends were spending the night with us at the base. Jack, Miko and Raf were sleeping in sleeping bags and Jeremy was sleeping on the couch. All of us autobots we're in our berth rooms. Optimus and I were having a make out session and then we were done. Optimus laid down on his back and I rested my helm and right arm on his chassis and we both looked at each other and smiled. Optimus kissed my forehelm and said,"You're so beautiful both inside and out. I love you Leena." I love you too Optimus. Optimus, would you like our sparkling to be a mech or a femme?" I asked my husband. "Like I said before my love, I will be happy with whatever the gender of the sparkling will be," said Optimus. "Me too. Me too," I whispered. My optics started to feel really heavy and I was having a hard time keeping them open. Then I drifted off into a peaceful recharge. I felt Optimus kiss my forehelm and I heard him whisper to me,"Recharge well.....my beautiful wife," and then, silence. I opened my optics and saw Optimus in a deep and peaceful recharge. I felt his chassis slowly rise and fall and I smiled and whispered,"Goodnight my loving husband," and went back to sleep.
