Why? Why would she pick Noah Mason? I'm not mad that it's not me, I understand that she's straight, likes guys, and would never like me the way I like her, but as her friend I am going to tell her when she's making a stupid decision.
Noah Mason has a bad reputation when it comes to girls. He picks them up and drops them a second later and it isn't fair. As a friend, I can't see Leah suffer that way. My friends have had a lot of awful boyfriends and I have known that each one was going to suck.
I'm lying in bed with my phone on my nightstand when I realize that I have to warn her against Noah. I pick up my phone. It's an iPhone X, and I just got it. It's really nice. But it makes me a little sad whenever I pick it up. I feel like my mom gives it to me like "hey, sorry you're deaf, but here's a nice phone, so maybe the kids at school will pick on you a little less". They don't pick on me any less. They pick on me more. They call me a spoiled brat. They say I deserve never being able to listen to music again. Never getting to hear Brendon Urie's angel voice again is freaking tragic.
Anyway, I text Leah.
