Evelyn's pov
Another day of torture. Aka, school. I got out of bed slowly and walked to the bathroom while rubbing my eyes. Monday's are the worst. I turned on the shower water and while I waited for it to get hot I started washing my face. I brushed my teeth while scrolling through all my Snapchat notifications. Once I replied to all my streaks I spit and rinsed my mouth, took off my clothes, and got into the shower.
After my shower I dried off and put on some light washed ripped jeans which were rolled up on my ankles, a black sweatshirt from pink, and my checkered vans. I dried my hair then straightened it quickly since it was 7:45 and school started at 8:15. When I finished everything in the bathroom I shut off the lights and grabbed my bag, headphones, phone, and keys then ran downstairs.

"Bye Mom! Bye Isaiah!" I yelled while running out the door then quickly getting into my car. It may seem stupid that I'm rushing and I have a decent amount of time, but I have to go get my best friend Emily. I usually give her a ride every morning.
After I picked her up we stared rambling about dumb stuff the whole ride to school.

I walked into the school and Emily and I went our separate ways. I was walking to my locker until I felt a arm gently go across my neck on top of my shoulders. I looked up to see the one and only Joey Birlem.

"Wassupp!!" He said while walking with me and I pushed his arm away.

"Leave me alone Joseph" I said while unlocking my locker and he stood next to me.

"You know you want meee" he said.

"Nooo I really don't " i said while shutting my locker and walking past him, then straight to class. When I walked into class I held my books close to my chest and I sat in my seat which was in the middle row. I went on Instagram and looked through my feed until I heard loud voices enter the room. I looked up to see joey with Charles, Jacob, and many more of his jerk friends. Charles was actually pretty nice. We used to talk on snapchat but then we stopped. They all made their way to the back corner which is where they sat everyday.

"Good morning class!" Mrs colp shouted while walking into the classroom with her coffee mug and she placed it onto the table.

"We will start a project today!" She said with a big smile on her face.

"You will create a map of the country you are assigned showing all the borders. You won't be working alone, all of you will have a partner!" She said while smiling.

"Can we pick?" Someone asked from the back of the room.

"Nope! I've already put you all in pairs!" She said while pulling a paper out of her bag while everyone groaned. She grabbed a white piece of paper and taped it to the white board then moved out of the way.

"Back row go see who you have first!" She said while sitting in her seat. She always treated us like we were babies and she dismissed us by rows which I hated. I was scrolling through Instagram and all of sudden two hands slammed onto my desk in front of me, making me drop my phone.

"Looks like we're partners" the voice said and I looked up.

It was Joey.
