Mr. Dreamy has beautiful eyes, he has a wonderful smile, and he is strong. He tells you that you would look great wearing this or that. He reminds you that this friend of yours isn't good for you because she is just drama. He helps you find better ways to spend your time. He tells you that you're good enough to accomplish this or that. Mr. Dreamy is always there for you, and wants to hear from you all the time. Mr. Dreamy and you fight, but make up. Mr. Dreamy is perfect and he's your best friend. You don't need any other friends than him in your life, he's all you want...

But, when Mr. Dreamy tells you that you would look good wearing this/that, he is really saying he doesn't like your style and you should be someone else. You're too skinny, maybe you should gain some weight and then you'll be beautiful. You're too fat, nobody wants to see that. You should wear more makeup because your natural look isn't quite cutting it. You should wear less makeup because you look like a clown. The friend he told you was drama was only trying to open your eyes to what was to come, so he had to get rid of her. He fills your schedule with tasks so you're always busy and never have too much free time to find a life outside of him. He limits your abilities to succeed by telling you that you're too young to do this or too immature to do that and you will never make it in life on your own because you don't have enough life experience to know what to do. You feel discouraged, so you forget about your stupid dream. He is always near you to watch you when you make a mistake, and he never sees your accomplishments because he's too busy making sure you don't gain too much confidence. He talks to you constantly and asks where you are and what you're doing so he knows you're behaving and not leaving him. When you fight, it's your fault, he hurts you, he hits you, he makes sure you know how horrible and worthless you are. You try to fight back but that only makes it worse, he's stronger than you, and you can't beat him. But, he's your only friend. The rest had to go is what he made you think. You're all alone. Nobody left to run to. Nowhere to go. You can't ever leave him. You're trapped.
