Vessile was a young boy. He had short blonde hair and eyes so light brown you could consider them yellow. He was born into a rich family. From Amelia and Don of the military, was born their own little angel. The worked hard day and night to help Vessile learn sword skills and magic. His parents never let him use dark magic, or go anywhere near it. The king, however, disagreed with the plan and said that his child would be raised in all types of magic. Vessile never found out why he had a mark on his forehead. It was like a J but with a circle cutting through it. His parents changed the subject every time he brought it up. Vessile was curious and very simple at solving solutions. While all the other kids looked for a more harder path, he chose the easiest one.
He didn't go to school though. His parents said that they trained him better than any school would.
But one fateful day, it happened. His parents got a letter from the king saying that they had to go to war. Vessile wouldn't have cared as much, but they were fighting demons.
That ment Shanon the demon king could be there.
The tried to talk to anyone to keep their son while they were gone, but no one wanted to babysit a spoiled brat. That's what most people considered the rich.
They eventually had to take Vessile with them.
The regretted it so much. Though they told him to not leave the tent. No matter what happens don't leave the tent.
Vessile was twelve. Like he would listen.
Vessile wandered out into the battle field. He was thankfully behind it all. He climbed up one of the watch posts. His parents were awesome. They were slicing and casting spells.
Then the sky darkened. A large bird shadow flew across the black sky. Then with a huge crash it landed. It wasn't a bird. It was a dragon. Taming a dragon was like walking with no legs. Impossible.
Down from the dragon came a shirtless man. He had a scar of a mark like Vessile except it was like a sideways S with more loops and dots here and there. His pants were more like pure darkness in the form of legs.
His eyes we're like a fire, red hot.
Then his face. He had a large scar across his eye. His oddly tan but pale suing was shimmering. His sword was huge. Like bugger than Shanon himself.
Then someone else came down.
It was a women. She had no mark this time but her hair was oddly wavy. Her dress was black with silver musical notes through it. Black hair, red eyes, but her skin was just pale. She had a harp like thing floating around her. It was like circle harp.
She was kind of pretty.
Then Vessile had a flashback of his parents telling him stories about Shanon the demon king and his wife Crescendo (Cra-shen-doe.) The music mage.
They were ruthless killers.
All the other fighters backed away. Except Vessile parents. They stood still. His mother pulled out a few stones from her bag and tossed them in the air. The floated around her.
His dad simply pulled out his sword.
The two demons smiled.
Crescendo ran at his mother.
One of the runes flew at Crescendo.
She dodged it. Then it whirled back around and Shot bolts of flame at her. Crescendo played a small note on her harp and the bolts disappeared.
Crescendo got closer to Vesslie's mother.
She kept throwing different runes but nothing happened.
Crescendo then played another tune. His mother tried to run away but was blocked by some invisible forcefield. Crescendo pulled out her knife. Vessile shed a single tear as his mother fell to the ground. Soaked in her own blood.
His dad was fighting Shanon was was caught off guard by this. "Amelia!"
Then Shanon saw his opening. Vesslie's tears grew larger and larger. Then he had lost it. Something inside of him clicked. He felt a odd surge of power. He was like a beacon of light. He had angel wings and a sword with runes ingraved on it. The runes were glowing yellow. He flew down to Shanon.
"Hey pipsqueak. You having fun with those hand made wings. Listen, I don't like to kill children so-"
"YOU FIEND! YOU ARE A FIEND!!!" Vessile yelled.
He slashed his sword and Shanon flew into the distance. He was like just sparkle in the sky now.
Vessile then turned to Crescendo. She played some notes and disappeared. Then something banged him in the head. Vessile only saw a girl holding a very odd weapon and having some blue armor, before he passed out.
