Y/N POV
It was Tuesday morning 7:30am i knew i was hella late but i really did not wanna get out of bed, not only was i super comfortable but i also didn't wanna wake up dinah she looks so peaceful sleeping now why would i wake up sleeping beauty from her beauty rest? It's only the second day it won't hurt to go in a lil bit late I'm sure it'll be okay. So i drifted on back to sleep.
Dinahs POV
When i woke up i was a bit confused because i was still in Y/N arms i rolled over to look at my phone and it said 10:34am i looked back at y/n/n and back at my phone. Was it a holiday? I chuckled. I rolled back over to where she is and began to wake her up. Y/N get up!! Ugh she's such a heavy sleeper y/n. Y/N!! She finally woke up!! I giggled because she looks so out of it. 'Whatttt' she whined don't you have school or something?! i asked 'what time Is it??' 10:36 shit' LANGUAGE i yelled 'not the time dinahhhh' ugh!
Y/N POV
I quickly got outta bed brushed my teeth, put on my makeup, threw on my red crop top, some black leggings and put on my high top vans. "Y/N HURRY YOUR ASS UP YOU GOTTA GO TO SCHOOL!" I heard my mom y'all at me "IM ALREADY LATE SO MINE AS WELL TAKE MY TIME!" I yelled back. Dinah woke me up at like 10:30 something and it's already 11:00 shake my head it's not my fault it takes me a long time! I took my keys and headed for the door screamed 'bye love you' to everyone and left
~~At school~~
It took about 20mins to get to here so now it's 11:20 and which means its sixth period, lunch time! I walked into the main office to sign in and of course they didn't look too happy. "Y/n why are you this late the day is basically over." My principle said "i woke up late." "If you wake up at 8, that's a good excuse but 11! Seriously y/n???" "Y'all act like you've never woken up that late before jeez." "Ok ok y/n drop the attitude" he signed me a slip and sent me to class.
As i was walking to lunch i saw lani across the hall "YO LANI!!" She looked up from her phone and ran to me "Y/N!!!!!" "Sup bitch" i said as i stuck my tongue out at her "y/n!" "What?" "Did you really just now come into school?!?!" "Yup" "girlllll you shoulda just stayed home" "that's what i said but my mom said no" "well I'm glad you're here at least!" "I'm not" then the bell rang "so what class you have now?" "English" "ayyy looks like you're still stuck with my ass" lani said "sadly" i joked

I was now driving home with roni because one she didn't have a ride and two i just wanted to hang out with her and we were blasting Ariana grande's newest song 'no tears left to cry' and i felt like i was in an episode of 'carpool karaoke' yknow the James cordon series hahaha it was so fun we got home and i ran straight to the pantry since my hungry ass didn't eat a thingggg today. Roni came in behind me and all we heard in the house was laughing obviously it was the girls. "Oh hey y/n" "washpoppin" i said with a cookie in my mouth" "ew y/n don't talk with your mouth full" roni said as she pretended to give me a dirty look. "Y/n are you even going to introduce your friend to us?" Ally said "oh yeah i forgot" "roni this is Ally, Dinah, Lauren and my sister Normani Ally, dinah, Mani and Lauren this is my best friend Veronica there you guys are all introduced can i go back to eating my cookies now?" "Nope how about we order a pizza?" Dinah suggested as she took the cookie out of my hand "OOOHH YESS" i squealed "ok boo calm down!" Dinah said
While we were waiting for the pizza to get here we were all sitting in the living room talking and they were getting to know Roni. "So roni I've never seen you before did you just move here?" Mani said "well yes kind of, i moved here last year in 11th grade" she said with a smile "oooouu where'd you come from" Lauren asked interested in the dark haired girl "New York." "Who moves from NY to Texas???" Ally asked confused "hahaha me, NY was just too much for me i had to get away from it and plush my dad got a better job up here" she said with a grin "what kind of job does he have?" Dinah asked "we own our own company he's a business man yknow very boring" "boring my ass" i mumbled "girl it is i barely see him it's kinda boring" "mmhmm you're rich tho" "just because I'm rich doesn't mean it's fun..." "true you right" "Ik I'm always right" she said as she flips her hair "annnnoying" i trailed off "you love me tho" she kissed me on the cheek i looked over at dinah randomly and for some reason she looked kinda jealous. As soon as she did that the pizza came

We were all done eating and it was now like 8:30 and Roni's mom called her and said she has to be home. roni said bye to everyone and we left the drive to her house is pretty quick like 15mins. "So did you have fun today? Sorry it wasn't just us two" "ohmygod y/n don't be sorry that was probably the most fun I've had in a couple weeks please invite me over more! I'm so sick of being stuck in my house all the time it's so boring you have no idea" "awe I'm glad you had fun! And i keep telling you just tell me when you wanna chill and I'll be there i don't want you stuck in that house all day by yourself! Even if all you wanna do is go to a diner or get coffee I'm down!" "Aw okay thanks y/n I'm so happy we're best friends i love you soooo much" she kissed my cheek again "hahaha i love you more" she said as she got out and i waited in the driveway until i saw she got to her front door and blew me a kiss and walked in. Today was so fun! I thought to myself an started blasting 'icon' by jaden smith and drove home.

Today was pretty fun not gonna lie i love y/n 's friends! But i don't know why but that roni girl gave me hella bad vibes not because she's bad or anything but like do you think her and y/n have a thing going on? I asked Lauren and ally "awww is dj getting jealous??? What!? No! "Dj it's totally fine if you are we know you like her!" Ally said What! No i don't!! "Dinah cut the bs you don't think we notice every time she talked to you, you blush" Lauren said, ok ok shush before mani hears! "The water and the music is playing loud dinah i don't think she hears us! Shit she can't even hear us if she's two feet away" Lauren chuckled okay maybe y'all are right but please don't tell Mani i know how overprotective she gets with

Y/N POV
It was now like 9:00 or something like that and i took my sweet ass time coming home because i just love blasting my music. I walked in the house, ran up to my room and saw dinah laying on the bed on her phone. "Hey dj" "oh hey y/n/n" "dinah you know you don't have to ask me to get clothes right?" "Oh, no i didn't haha umm can you get me some tho i don't wanna go through your stuff" she said with puppy dog eyes "hmmm okay only cause you're cute" "tanksss" i gave her a pair and she got changed. I quickly took off my makeup, we both brushed our teeth said goodnight to everyone because it was pretty late and went to bed.
We were both laying in bed just talking i was tired but i wasn't ready to go to sleep yet.
"Hey y/n/n?" Dinah said with her lovely soft voice "hmm" i hummed "i have a silly question" "well i might have an answer for that silly question" i joked she giggled god i love that laugh so much i thought to myself! "Umm are you and roni a thing?" She asked while running her fingers through her hair.
A bunch of thoughts are going through my head right now. Omg why does she want to know?? Is she jealous?? Does this mean she actually likes me back? Hmmm should i make her even more jealous by saying yes? No I'm not gonna ruin anything because what if she moves on fast! ....
No dinah she's just a friend one of my best friends actually, i mean she's cute but i don't think i could ever date her i feel like that be to awkward yknow?
She sighed as if i just relieved a huge weight off of her shoulders "oh okay" "why tho? Dj are you jealous???" "What!? No! I was just wondering because you guys just looked all touchy and stuff" "but if we were would you be?" I smirked
"Uhh" "n-no" "oh so you'd be okay with it?" "Y-yeah" she stuttered out "oh okay since you're okay with it I'll ask her out tomorrow!" "I-i thought you said you didn't like her tho" she looked down all sad" "aww D don't be sad I'm messing around with you!" "But why would you be sad?" "Awh does dinahpooh have a crush on me?" I joked but hoping she'd say yes! "Hmm well i guess y/n-Pooh will just have to find out!" She turned around an said 'goodnight y/n!"
