Yoongi slowly rolled his eyes, before blinking and letting against the counter behind him. He still had four hours left of his shift, and no one has come in for almost one. He turned to fiddle with the console testing set behind him, blowing on overheated, worn cords before plugging them in, attempting to make the dinosaur roar back to life. They weren't getting the new one for another-
Knock knock.
Yoongis head never whooped around faster in his entire life. He was met with the caramel eyes of a very handsome man and-
"Uhhhh, Yoongi, is it?" The expensively dressed man squinted at his Battlefield 1 name tag. Yoongi only then noticed that he was holding some prepackaged food that looked too healthy for his own safety. "We heard your store has a microwave. Is there any chance you'd let me use it?" Yoongi tilted his head slightly in thought.
"I don't know. I'm not supposed to let handsome men in suits that are worth more than my life go poking around in the back room." The man smiled, and before Yoongi had realized what he had said, his pale cheeks were on fire.
"My name is Jungkook, and this is Armani. I can assure you that you're worth more than this suit."
"I-I suppose you can use it, but only because I need to check the thermostat. I'm burning alive." Yoongi led the (slightly taller) man to the back room, pointing haphazardly to his left. "That's the break room, the microwave is to your right when you open the door." He walked away without hearing any confirmation, pressing his hands into his cheeks. He sat down on the floor next to the thermostat for a minute, waving his hands at his face to make the blush in his cheeks die down. He heard the door to the break room open again, and rushed to get up and meet the boy at the door.
"Thanks, Yoongi. I can eat my lunch warm now." Yoongi nodded, the lump in his throat preventing any production of words. Jungkook spoke again as he was about to leave Yoongi's store.
"I get off at 3, would you like to join me for coffee?" Yoongi's jaw nearly hit the floor. He wrote his number down in a season pass card next to him, before shoving it at the smug boy ungracefully.
"I'm off at three too, but you'll have to let me change, I can't go anywhere with you looking like this." Jungkook laughed, a jingle that didn't match the press of his overcoat. "I cannot wait to get out of this, if I'm honest. I hate talking like an upperclass asshole anyways. We can meet at 4:30, then? At Roasters?" Yoongi smiled, and nodded slightly.
"I'll see you there and then, Jungkook."
