Chapter 1

21st August, Today marks the second month I left school... My name is Haruka Ryuga a sophomore at Elmore Highschool. I am now currently wasting away rotting in my own room lying on the bed procrastinating and playing video games. To fill you in on how I became this way, I'll have to fill you in two months ago exactly on 21st June. I was in school like every other student, I was your average everyday teenage outcast. my lessons began and then it ended. I can't explain how fast time is to me, one minute I'm learning chemistry the next I'm in the lecture hall listening to jot down notes about mathematics. But on that fateful day, I saw a female student being harassed and sexually assaulted by 3 males and 2 females...I was about to turn a blind eye till I heard one of the males slap the victim and started shouting curses at her. That's where I drew the line, I could not bear to see this happen and ignore it, for the past 5 years I was just like that victim, an outcast, a fool... someone who can't even be looked in the eyes.. all because I looked scary most of the time. I decided I didn't want anyone else to suffer my fate, so I took it upon my hands and called out to the victim's cry for help. "hey! stop bullying her! what has she ever done to you?" I yelled, "huh? and who are you suppose to be? her knight in shining armor? stay out of this junior or I'll make sure you'll get hit too" the male responded, as I gripped my fists in anger the 4 other students started laughing."hey hey are you serious? there's no way you can beat seniors like us, plus even if you tried you'll only end up in trouble and maybe if you're lucky only one or two broken teeth". At that moment when the male was about to hit the victim again. I quickly ran up to take the blow only to be hit in my stomach. "fine have it your way!" the male yelled, Immediately it turned into a full out fight, I was up against two seniors and I only knew the basics of mixed martial arts. As I fight the seniors I put my combat sense to the test.

In the end. I emerged victories mainly due to the fact that I run track and field while these two seniors are in the Math club, where all they do is laze around and solve basic equations. Although I had won the fight.. the stares from my peers said otherwise. They stared at me as if I was a monster, shortly after a nurse came running to do first aid and check the health of the seniors. After that day people stared at me as if I was a monster. The teachers soon contacted me and told me I was suspended from school for a week, I couldn't believe it, me being suspended for standing up against school bullies... I couldn't believe their system and so that brings me here. I decided to quit school because of how unruly they were. and now I'm just playing games on my bed, of course, I couldn't completely quit school so I did my own self-study from time to time. at 3pm my doorbell rang, I wonder who it is. As I open my apartment's front door I am greeted by a female with long pink hair wearing my school's uniform with a stack of papers. "hello? are you Haruka?" the girl asked, "yes I am, and who might you be?" I said." Ah, I'm not surprised that you don't remember me, my name's Akiko Yuki, I'm uh... t-t-the girl you saved" as Yuki prgoressively speaks she gets softer and softer and I couldn't hear the last part. "I'm sorry could you repeat that part?" I responded, "a-at any rate! could you please put on a shirt!!!" Yuki screamed, oh right that was the most discomforting thing Yuki had to see, I usually let loose in my apartment and just wear my underwear and jeans forgetting a shirt when people visit. "Ah sorry my bad, now what were you saying again?" I asked, "R-right! I'm the girl that you saved! and I came to deliver your homework! and I have a confession to make!!!" Yuki yelled, shortly after she yelled those words her faced seemed to turn bright red, I'm unsure why but something tells me it's very serious... hey wait did she just say she was the girl that i saved?!?!
