Nao's Pov

After dropping Rin off at her house she was passed out completely. I parked her car in their garage. Her house was big but I'm pretty sure Ella's house is bigger.

I walked out to the streets and call a cab to bring me home. I checked my flip phone and it was 2 hours past midnight. I told the cab driver to drive a bit faster because my dad is probably wasted on the living room couch with beer bottles everywhere. I'm not a fan of drinking. Hyuna and Taemin are hiding under their beds with their desk against the door when I'm not home I told them to hide together under Hyuna's bed and push their desk to block their door. Even if my Dad gets in they would be safer under the bed.

I paid the driver the money and rush to the house to see my dad wasted on the couch. I tried to move him to his room so I would have a better chance of cleaning the living room up. I walk quietly over to him and carry him to his room. Just as I was about to open the door.

He grabbed my arm hard which I know is going to leave a bruise. I backed up until my back is against the wall and then it happened again, every day I would come home and it will happen.

Daddy Daddy, look what I made for you. I showed him a picture I drew for him. It was my mom, my dad, me, Taemin and Hyuna. I showed it to him and he kneeled down and took the picture from my hand and kissed me on the cheek he walked over to the fridge and put my picture up along with the other pictures I drew.

Mommy came back with Hyuna and Taemin. Hyuna holding her hand and Taemin in her arms. Mommy would always bring Hyuna, Taemin and I to the park. But I didn't go this time because I wanted to spend some time with my Daddy.

Daddy, I don't want to go to bed yet can I stay up just a little longer?

"No sweetie you need to go to bed it's already past your bedtime and you know it" He kissed my forehead and tuck me into bed.

I woke up the next day and today I'm going to the shopping center with Mommy to get me new pretty clothes. I ran down the stair and saw mommy was about to walk up the stairs.

"Mommy, can we go now?" I started to jump up and down

"Alright sweetheart let's go," She said and held my hand. Mommy kissed Daddy before we left. I'm really happy that I have such loving parents and such a wonderful family.

We were on our way back from the shopping mall we were walking to down the streets and the shopping mall was only 2 blocks down the street from where I stayed. We walked till we were at this part of town that not a lot of people stay it was just quiet. We call this part of town the dark side. While walking we heard a gunshot behind us. I whipped my head around to see 2 men wearing hoods one of them holding a gun the other holding a pocket knife. Mommy looked frightened I never saw her like this she was always the bravest person I know.

"Sweetheart?" Mommy said looking down and squatting down so she's the same height as me.

"Yes, mommy?"  I said looking at her with my innocent eyes. "Sweetheart, I love you take this gun and run whatever you do don't look back" She kissed my forehead and got back up.

I took the gun and started to run. I heard gunshots behind me and I can hear my mom's screams and I didn't look back and just kept running

I then felt someone drag me back and I looked up to see one guy with the blade about to cut my throat. I took my gun a lifted it up to the guy's head and pulled the trigger and I closed my eyes and felt blood on my face. I turned around which I regret doing.

I see my mom's lifeless body on the floor with a puddle of blood around her. I saw the guy with the gun in his hand and it was pointed towards my mom's head. I lifted the gun and aim it at the guy's head and then I heard the gunshot sound.

"Run and never look back" That phrase keeps ringing in my head. I got up from my feet and ran back home.

"Daddy!" I shouted and my whole face was already soaked in tears and some of it belongs to the blood of the guy I killed.

My dad walked into the room and saw me cover with blood and tears. He bends down and asked me what happen. "Mommy she's gone," I said between sobs. "So that Idiotic woman finally died." My dad said. I look ed down and was shocked out of my mind.

"Looks like they did the job right?" Dad said and stood up. "All I did was stood there full of shock. My dad just hired someone to kill my mom.

Daddy killed mommy. That was all the phrase that kept repeating in my head. I quietly walk up the stairs to my room. I walked in and closed the door behind me and laid the gun down on my study table. Infront of the gun was a family picture of us. Happily smiling.

Back to present

"You bitch, where have you been!, this house is not going to clean itself you know" My dad shouted at me and he reeked of alcohol. "Did you spend my hard earn money on some stupid clothes to go to a party!" He shouted at me more. He pulled his hand up and slapped me hard on my cheek. I could tell it's bleeding. He then punched me in the eye and my collarbone and that made me fall backward.

He kicked me in the ribs and the shouted at me more. "Now clean this house up!" He said and slammed the door in my face. I got up limping a bit and walked into the living room to clean up the cigarettes buds and beer bottles. Once I was done I took the trash out and walked up the stairs. I knocked lightly on Taemin and Hyuna's door. "Tae, Una it's me," I said I then heard things being shifted around and the door lock unlocked. I open the door.

Taemin and Hyuna came hugging me and crying. I closed and lock the door and sat down and they continue. "Nonna are you okay? we heard appa screaming at you" Taemin came closer and sat on my lap. "Unnie did appa hit you again?" Hyuna came closer and she is tearing up

"Don't worry we'll leave this place for good just give me a little more time and we'll be out of here, I promised Eomma I would take care of you and won't let you guys get hurt.
