The Legend of the Alpha

Jack charged the demon wolf,  midcharge, he shifted completely,  his eyes glowing yellow,  signifying that he was a beta. His teeth elongated into fangs and his nails turned into claws.

However,  he hadn't even reached halfway when Alex moved. He moved so fast that,  even though he could be seen,  you couldn't react,  or move fast enough to counter him,  not even close.

Jack was grabbed before Alex headbutted him. As he fell, he was thrown across the room with little to no effort.

" Well, looks like we can't avoid this now, now can we , " Tyler shook his head before shifting completely ,  hoping that his training with Gerald would help.

" Let's do this, " Emily said before also shifting and charging with Tyler. Alan sighed as he also charged into the fight.

Tyler ducked as Alex swung his fist at him , however,  as he straightened,  Alex grabbed Tyler by his collar and slammed him into Alan who was coming to his aid.

Jack and Emily grabbed both hands of Alex,  trying to restrain but failed as he swung both his hands,  effectively knocking them away.

' We can't beat this thing !" Alan exclaimed.  " Yeah,  we need back up,  also,  we need to evacuate the humans in the building,  " Tyler said as he stood,  " Emily,   get Mr. Mason out of here  would you. Jack, Alan,  help me hold off this thing, " he turned towards Alex and roared loudly.

Alex chuckled, " You know,  it's unwise to provoke someone more powerful than you,  I'm actually one of the kinder wolves in the pack,  you wouldn't want to meet Trevor,  Michael,  or even our alpha. "

Jacks eyes widened,  " But,  that's impossible,  " he said as he stood up,  Alex dashed to him and grabbed his neck raising him up,  " How so,  " Tyler asked as he charged. 

" Demon wolves are considered to be the most powerful supernaturals. It's hard as it is to become one,  so,  they don't have alphas.  They're usually the alphas.  "

Alan said before he roared again and charged Alex alongside Tyler , however,  Alex threw Jack into a wall and turned to face them. 

Tyler back flipped when he got close to Alex, his legs hitting him, that is  would have hit him if he hadn't caught one. Using him like a club,  or a base ball bat, Alex swung Tyler at Alan,  who jumped back,  only for Alex to catch him as he moved,  at lightning speed towards him.

Flipping Tyler upwards,  he slammed the both of them into the ground.

" Since you're entertaining me,  I'll give you one more chance,  " he said,  his  voice   had become gruff, " Tell me which one of you is - " Jack  jumped onto Alex's back,  trying to choke him.

Alex straightened and shrugged, throwing Jack off him and into a wall where he left a crack where he hit.

Turning towards him,  he appeared front of the downed wolf in less than a second,  pulling him to his feet before he punched him in the jaw,  followed by another punch,  this time in the gut,  and,  as Jack hunched over,  he received an uppercut throwing him back up into the air and back into a wall where he slid down it,  already unconscious.

" Stop it  , you're killing him,  " Tyler said. The last attack he had received still winded him and he hadn't recovered enough to stand. His eyes had stopped glowing and was now his normal colour,  black.

He turned to Alan who was also struggling to get up before turning back and trying to focus his attention in standing. Alex slowly turned around,  " I am patient guy you know, so,  I'll ask you one more time,  which of you is Tyler Jones. "

Tyler was about to respond when he felt a hand touch his shoulder and turned back towards Alan who shook his head. After a moment of silence,  Alex had enough  , " Very well then,  " he said before he reached down and grabbed Jack, " Watch as I torture your friend, " he said as he threw Jack across the hall.

" No,  " Tyler said as he got to his knees. This has gone on for far too long.  " He said as he forced himself to stand. " I'll take you on if I have to,  " he said as his eyes began to glow again, " Even if it costs me my life,  I won't let you hurt my friends,  " Alan stood up also,  " Yeah,  what he said. "

They both roared as they prepared to charge Alex only to quieten when Alex appeared before them and grabbed both of their necks,  lifting them as if they were rag dolls.

" This has been fun,  but,  unfortunately,  the fun is over, " " Not yet it isn't ,  " a voice down the hall said. Alex head wiped around so fast that it was a blur.

Down the hall,  wearing a jacket and black trousers , already completely transformed, his glowing red eyes surveying the area until they came upon Jack and he roared loudly.

So loud that Emily ,   who was in a car being driven by the principal,  half way home after convincing him to take her heard it. And she turned around in her seat to look towards the direction of the school. " Please be careful,  " she whispered.

" Pardon,  " Mr. Mason asked,  Emily just shook her head in response. Meanwhile , Gerald crouched as Alex dropped Tyler and Alan. " Come at me,  " he said before charging,  however he merely took a few steps before Alex appeared before him,  proof of his far superior speed and smashed him into a trophy cabinet which was conveniently beside Gerald.

Gerald immediately picked himself up,  only for a foot to smash into his stomach while he was on his knees. Alex then picked him up and tossed him towards Tyler and Alan.

Gerald lay on the ground for a few seconds before flipping to his feet. Tyler and Alan , how had already recovered took up fighting stances.

" If we work together  , weight have a chance,  " Alan said. Gerald shook his head, " I'm afraid not,  even with the three of us,  we're no match for a demon wolf. I'll distract him,  you guys go,  " Tyler shook his head,  and was about to respond but Gerald interrupted him as Alex slowly walked in their general direction.

" No,  go,  I'll be right behind you,  now,  move  , go now , " Gerald shouted as Alex was half way down the corridor towards them. He smirked before he squared his shoulders,  a clear sign he was about to charge.

Having no other choice,  Gerald's  eyes glowed brighter as he roared,  exerting his control as an alpha over his beta,  " leave now,  " Tyler's eyes glowed before he turned and rum out just as Alex appeared in front of him.

He tilted his head to the side to watch them leave while he grabbed Gerald's neck. " You're no Tyler Jones,  but,  from the look of it,  you know him,  you could be valuable to me, therefore,  you're coming with me,  " he said before  Gerald back flipped,  using Alex's chest as a platform , creating more space between them.

He landed in a crotch while Alex staggered. Seeing this as a chance,  Gerald turned and sprinted back the way he came. He nearly reached the door when Alex reappeared in front of him,  grabbed his neck again before headbutting him. All within the span of a few seconds.

Alex sighed as he shifted back into a human,  holding the unconscious body of Gerald. He slung him over his shoulder before heading in the direction Gerald was going  , intending to pass the back door. 

Meanwhile,   Tyler and Alan had arrived at an empty street about two blocks away from the school before Tyler stopped, the glow in his eyes fading. " Do it. "

He took a deep breath before Alan stopped him. " What are you doing,  " " Telling Terms that I'm okay,  " Alan smacked him in the head,  " Are you a fool, do you want Gerald's sacrifice to be in vain. Alex's  a demon wolf, meaning he'll pinpoint out location in seconds if you roar. "

" So , what do you want me to do,  "  " Lets head to downhearted safe,  and then, we can plan from there. " " What about Jack. "

Alan sighed,  " Fine, I'll go get him,  head to Mike's home, I'll meet you there. "

The two went their separate ways,  one heading back towards the school while the other headed towards a friends house.
