For as long as I could remember
I was seen as a girl
But it never felt right
So I became a boy
They said I'd never be a real boy though
They said I was an abomination
A disgrace in the eyes of humanity
So I tried to hide in a maze of fake smiles and "I'm fine"
Etched into my mind are their cruel words
All because I wanted to be called
'he'
