The lost wife is alive

She just stood there. Starring at those kappas who had warned her about Saki all those years ago. And the black haired kunoichi, the child she had thought died in the fire along with her father. If she had known she was alive she had traveled to America years ago. And her daughter recognized her, she called her "mom". She laid her hands on her daughter's cheeks.

Tang Shen:"Miwa... I can't believe it."

Karai didn't stand out anymore. She hugged her tightly. Her hole life she had thought her mother was dead. And in some way she was here. It was almost impossible not to let the tears fall down.

Pinkie:(whispers to Mikey)"I don't understand, who is she?"

Mikey:(whispers back)"It's Tang Shen. She's sensei Splinter's wife. But we have always thought that she died in that fire all those years ago."

Pinkie:(whispers)"Oh, yeah, her. But how can she be here then?"

Tang Shen let go of Karai and looked at the turtles.

Tang Shen:"I guess we all owe each other an explanation."

Twilight:"Let's get up to the rooftops and talk there. The risk that someone else is listening is less up there."

The teenagers jumped up to the rooftop as Tang Shen took the fire escape.

Donnie:"Maybe you can start with how you could survive that conflagration 17 years ago?"

Tang Shen:"Actually I don't know exactly. All I know is that someone got me out of the house and into safety in the woods. I woke up days later and the scars Saki gave me while trying to kill Yoshi, was cleaned and bandaged, the injuries from the fire was also taken care of. Back then I thought it was you guys."

Raph:"No, we saved Splinter, but we then thought you was already dead. Sorry."

Tang Shen:"It's okay. When I looked around and saw the cinders of the house, I thought the fire had taken both my husband and daughter. I heard about Saki restore the Foot clan, but I didn't want meet him ever again so I moved to a smaller village. I worked as waitress at a cofé there until I saw on the news that it might be ninjas in New York. I directly recognized the Hamato symbol on the found ninja star. I saved up enough money and moved here, hopping to meet those ninjas I knew must have some connection to Yoshi. Sadly I had no luck until a year ago when I saw the fight between that Shredder demon and four turtles and teenage girls with wings and tails. I recognized you four directly, but I never got a moment to talk to you. Now, let me ask, how could you four know how bad Saki really was?"

Mikey:"Well, let's start 16 years ago. Splinter, or Yoshi, had moved to New York since he thought his family was dead. He had just left the pet store with four cute little baby turtles. A strange man passed by him, it was something with that dude that wasn't right. Splinter decided to follow him. But then a rat started to sound and the guy and his friends saw him. The men attacked him and accidently dropped a tank filled with mutagen over him and his turtles. It turned us to humanlike mutant turtles and Splinter to a giant rat. Splinter took us underground and there he took care of us, raised us and trained us in the art of ninjutsu. The day we turned fifteen, he let us go up to the surface for the first time. We was out on many adventures, we even saved the world some times from aliens, we faced the Shredder, or Oroku Saki, who did everything in his power to kill us and Splinter. One night when we was on patrol, a girl in weird clothes named Renet appeared like out of nowhere. She was from far into the future, and she was hunted by a villain and we helped he defeat him in another time. But on the way back to our time, she accidentally sent us to the days before Shredder almost killed you. And that's how we knew about Oroku Saki. And how we could be fifteen years old in Japan before we was even born."(smiles)
