THE DEVIL'S PET

After I put on my gym clothes as fast as I could , i made my way back to the gym. Mr.jonsten announced that we'd be running laps, which was totally fine with me but the others were groaning and scowling. But this didn't stop Mr. Jonsten from blowing the whistle.

We were divided into two groups. Coach said that we could make our own teams luckily for me, Aiden was our leader, I got chosen in the first group.

Our group consisted of six people. Aiden, me, seth, luke, matt and a girl named Jennifer. The other group had eight people instead. That group consisted of girls who were looking at me like I was their cat's poop and a bunch of tall guys, actually really tall, who were grinning and looking at me. Come on, how could they not? I'm a bombshell. Note the sarcasm. Anyways, we started running shortly after we had selected our groups. To my surprise, well not actually so surprised, my whole group was super fast and I was the one lagging behind. Even Jennifer was fast, this was hard to believe 'cause I hadn't really pinned her as the athletic type, ya know. I was beginning to get tired, I think we ran for just ten minutes but I was way beyond exhausted. I don't know how as I ran longer periods in my life. God, I need to get back in shape. After a while I just couldn't keep up, so I started walking and took a seat. The others were still running laps. That had me wondering how could they not get tired!

But after a while even they and the second group stopped running and finally took rest. Aiden sat right next to me, he was flushed after the run, a look which looked good on him. "Tired already? I pegged you as the athletic type" Aiden asked with a smirk on his lips. "Me too Aiden, me too" i huffed. I handed him my bottle with a smile, it was so obvious that he was thirsty 'cause he was licking his lips and swallowing his saliva constantly. He grinned and said "thank you". After he drank half of my bottle and gave it back to me, i saw jennifer hopping and coming towards us with a dazziling smile.

Aiden looked at jennifer and said "hey, jenny" unenthusiastically. Jennifer just gave him a flat smile and turned towards me. "Hey newbie! I'm jennifer hathaway. What's your name?" She said flashing me a bright smile. She seemed really nice. "Hello jennifer, my name's luccianna but you can call me Lucy" I introduced myself with a just as bright smile. Aiden seemed kinda annoyed with Jennifer. I frowned at that but continued talking to her. But he just sat there, not uttering a word. He was sitting there as if he was my bodyguard. Heh, I wish!
