A Threat In Vale

Y/N's POV

I was walking through the streets just looking around at my new surroundings as I had woken up after my battle with James Heller. I had no idea where I am so I looked around and saw some people had animal features while some held weapons on their back or hip. I decided to go into the forest to relax for a bit and think about what to do with this world.

As I looked around I found a large tree as I went and sat down in front of it. I closed my eye as I wanted a quick rest. About 1 minute after I closed my eye I heard a growl in front of me I opened my eye to see a big black wolf with white and red armor on it's body. I brought my hand out and strocked it on it's head, it gave off a loud purr as it layed down next to me. We closed our eyes and fell asleep.

Ruby's POV

Ozpin had sent me on a solo mission to get rid of a few Grimm in the emerald forest. I have been walking around for about 20 minutes now and found nothing.

Ruby: Man, Ozpin told me there were Grimm here, but there's nothing.

I kept walking but then I heard snoring, I walked towards it to find a man with leather jacket with a grey hood, he had a pair of blue jeans and black shoes with his top underneath showing, but what scared me was that a beowolf was sleeping next to him. I took out Cresent Rose and walked towards the Grimm, the beowolf was waking up and growled at me, but then the man started to wake up but I noticed he had a scar across his face and an eyepatch covering his left eye and the other glowed ocean blue.

Y/N's POV

I woke up to see a young girl dressed in red and black with a large red scythe.

Y/N: What's a kid like you, doing with a weapon like that?

Red: I made it myself and I'm not a kid, I'm 15!!

Y/N: Yeah a kid. Anyway what are you doing?

I asked as the black wolf sat next to me.

Red: I'm here to get rid of Grimm.

She said with a confident smile, hildung her weapon which is bigger than her.

Y/N: What's a Grimm?

Red: What?! How do you not know what a Grimm is?!

Y/N: I'm not from around here.

Red: Oh. Well a Grimm is a creature next to you. That's a Beowolf.

She said quite scared of the wolf next to me.

Y/N: But she hasn't layed a claw on me at all.

Red: Wait!! The Grimm hasn't harmed you!

Y/N: No, anyway you haven't told me your name yet.

Ruby: Oh sorry, my name's Ruby Rose leader of team RWBY, and you are?

Y/N: Y/N Mercer also known as Zeus.

Ruby: Why Zeus?

Y/N: Cause no one could beat me.

She stood shocked at what I haf just said and how plainly I had said it.

Y/N: Anyway I'm gonna go now, wanna explore the new world.

I walked off as the Beowolf followed me, but I knew I couldn't keep her.

Y/N: Sorry girl I can't keep you, you'll get attacked by people.

The Grimm whined with sadness and her ears flattened against her head. But she quickly ran somewhere I sighed and started walking away until I heard her.
