The Day It All Started

I was sitting outside with my three best friends Robyn, Mack, and Faith. Mack and Faith were singing this weird ass song. I fiddled with my necklace watching them with a smile on my face.

"Have you guys seen the video where Jungkook is-" I start after they finish the song but get cut off by Faith

"Oh here we go again. Ok everyone Imma bout to do an imitation of Danika. Okay. Okay." Faith says

"OH JUNGKOOK. I LOVE JEON JUNGKOOK SO MUCH. IM DANIKA JEON OR JEON DANIKA. JUNGKOOKIE OPPA" she yells as she imitates me. We all laugh. The bell rings and my smile grows. We all take our usual short cut down some side streets as we walk to our shared house with my cousin Audrey since we are not old enough to live by ourselves she's our guardian I guess. But she acts just like us.

"Guys have I told you how much I love Suga's gummy smile" Faith asks

"Yes that's about 1.3 million times now" I say in a weird voice, counting my fingers. We arrive at our front door. Mackenzie unlocks it with her key. When she opens it we smell the faint scent of a candle. We all look at eachother.

"Did you light the candle?" We all ask eachother in unison.

"No I didn't you did" we say again at the same time.

"You were the last one out" I point to Robyn.

"It wasn't me" she says. I just shrug it off. We each start heading off into our own rooms, Mack and Robyn go down one end of the hallway and Faith and I go down the other hall. We both open the doors to our rooms I take one step in and see him there on his phone. On my bed. He looks up at me his bunny smile showing. I go wide eyed and step to the side of my door. I look down the hall to where Robyn and Mack are. Robyn did the same thing as me I see

"is he there too" I mouth the words

"What" She mouths back. Ugh I swear this girl cannot lip read for the life of her. I pull out my phone and text her

'Is KIM TAEHYUNG IN YOUR ROOM BECAUSE JEON JUNGKOOK IS IN MINE' I type. I hit send. Immediately after it says delivered I look over to Robyn. She texts back 'yes' I peek into Faiths room to see her and MIN FLIPPING YOONGI HUGGING. Ok Danika you can do this. I think to myself I walk back into my room.

"Hi" I say but my voice cracks. GREAT JUST GREAT. I feel my face heat up.

"Hi" Jungkook chuckles

"What are you doing in my house? ImeanI'mnotmadbutit'sweird. I'mfarfrommadI'mhappy. EcstaticyoucouldsayI-it's-just-ahhh" I jumble my words when I'm nervous and you can clearly see I'm NERVOUS.

"It's ok I understand" he says with a reassuring smile. Phewf.

"Me and My Hyungs decided to find our biggest fans and stay with them for a while. If that's okay" he explains.

"Yes that completely okay" I tell him with no hesitation. He laughs a bit again. I walk in and set down my school bag I grab my sketchbooks and pencil case to set on my desk. I also set my phone on my desk.

"Do you draw?" Jungkook asks.

"Yeah a bit. Why" I ask

"Could I see them?" He asks

"Sure they're really bad though" I say passing him one of my sketchbooks. He opens it and looks at every page. Taking in all of the details. I sit on the edge of my bed, looking down and playing with my hair tie around my wrist.

"They're really good." He says handing me the sketchbook.

"Thanks. Umm what do ya wanna do now" I ask him setting the sketchbook on my desk.
