Akuma's pov

Hi my name is Kurohime Akuma, I'm twelve years old and I'm currently on a mission. "Oi demon brat do you have a visual on the target?!" My 'father' spat venomously in the head set I wore.

"Yes sir I have a visual." I reply in a  monotone voice.

"Do you have a clean shot?" He questioned darkly.

".......yes sir." I hesitated to answer. The man I was to kill had a family, he had a pregnant women waiting for him back at his home. No amount of training prepared me for this kind of mission. If he were a scum bag I would have no issue killing him, however, he was innocent (I did a background check on him). He had done no wrong other than piss of some rich dude by speaking against him in front of the rich guy's friends.

"Take the shot." Father insisted. I was know faced with what ,in my opinion, was a very hard decision. I could kill him, escape the painful punishment I would receive for disobedience, and maybe get some form of recognition from my father or I could let this innocent man live, see his family beam when he comes home safely, and receive harsh punishment. Now I know what your thinking 'that's not a very hard decision it obvious you would pick the second option. Because your punishment won't be that bad would it?' yeah no. It's not an easy decision let me tell you why. My punishment would be no food until further notice, no contact with any living person, let's just say I won't be able to lean my back on anything for a while, more physical punishment that tends to be painful, and complete and total isolation. So yeah kind of a hard decision.

'Oi kid you gonna take the shot or not?' A deep voice cuts through my thouhts. 'I don't know Hikaru.' I admit to the demon sealed inside me. 'Well you better decide now kit.' Another voice calls speaking up. 'I'll let him live after all after today I won't be facing my father anymore.......right Kurama, Hikaru?' My response started out strong and determined, but you could hear the insecurity in my voice near the end. 'Of course' They answered instantly. I could picture a blood thirsty smile on the nine tailed fox and a soft smile on the nine tailed wolf's faces. They gave me the courage to turn my gun and shot the man who wanted me to take an innocent life.

"I'm done taking your orders Father leave." I snarled angrily. Words cannot describe the look on my father's face when I betrayed him. With one last look at his face I ended his life. A sense of freedom ripped through my very being as his body fell to the floor. You're finally free kid. You ready to go home? Hikaru spoke softly. Yeah I'm ready. I replied to the gentle wolf.

A large blue-red portal opens at my feet and I feel my heart race as a fall. I close my eyes in fear as I feel wind whipping through my hair. Both Hikaru and Kurama surround me in their chakra protectively. I crash down onto the ground and lose conciousness.

A loud beeping noice woke me from my slumber. "Ah I see you're awake." An elderly voice speaks from beside me. Anxiety rushed through my heart as I tried to assess the room I was in for any escape routes. "What was a young girl, such as yourself, doing in the woods near Konaha all alone?" The old man asked clearly concerned for my well being.

"I-i ran from my old home and collapsed near you village." I said lying partially. Part of me felt bad for lying but I had no idea who this old man was or what he would do so I chose to take advantage of the fact he was concerned.

"Why did you run away?" A new voice spoke up sounding suspicious. My eyes caught those of a silver haired mans. I remained silent not fully trusting these men.

"Why should I tell you?! I don't know who you are!" I snapped indignantly. Both men looked shocked at my bold display.

"I am the third hokage, but you can call me Gramps." The old man chucked clearly amused. "I am Hatake Kakashi, now answer my question." The silver haired man snapped angered. A cold glare settled on my features at 'Kakashi's' demand. My pink eyes mostly change to a lighter shade of pink when I'm angered, so I'm not surprised that Kakashi flinched.

"My name is Akuma, I ran because I didn't finish a mission and I didn't want to face my father's punishment." I once again spoke in half truths. A miniscule amount of guilt flooded my heart for lying to these people, but it was quickly squashed down when both men shot each other a dark look.

A knife was thrown in my direction at, for most people, an alarming rate. With a tired sigh I caught the blade and looked at it. "Really you threw a kunai at me?" I asked baffled by their attack. Kakashi now regarded me with a renewed sense of suspicioun. 'Gramps' , however, was clearly impressed.  "Where did you learn how to do that?" Gramps asked curiously.

"My father taught me." I spat out the word father with a dark venomous voice.

"You sound like you don't like him very much." Kakashi observed.

"That would be none of your business." I growled dangerously before leaping out the window. I sprinted away at top speed to insure my escape from them. My feet took me towards a mountain with faces carved on it.

"Oi you stupid demon brat get away from my store!" I heard a loud voice yell near the end of the Street I was running on. I looked to see what was happening and saw a grown man kick a kid to the ground. A deep burning rage filled my heart at the sight of the blonde haired boy being kick and spat at. A deep outraged growl sounded deep with in my mind scape from the two demons I house.

"What the hell is going on here!" I snarled feeling absolutely livid as I stood in between the man and the boy.

"I would get too close to that boy if I were you miss." The man warned me.

"And why is that?!" I retorted sassily with my hands on my hips.

"Because he's a good-for-nothing demon." The man stated like it was a fact. My whole body tensed in anger, I was like a volcano ready to blow. I looked at the boy behind me and stared into his eyes. I saw loneliness, pain, and a small glimmer of hope that made my heart melt.

"I don't see a demon. I see a boy." I dead panned at the man before offering my hand to the boy. The boy looked at me; his eyes wide with shock and hesitantly grabbed my hand. I hauled him to his feet and turned my eyes to the man.

"This boy behind me is no demon, however, if I find out you so much as looked at him wrong I'll show you a demon." I growled agressively as I held on to the blonde possessively. The man back up frightened by the demonic tone of voice. The people in the streets regarded me with caution clearly unsure of how to take my words. Without another glance at the man I took the blonde boy away from the crowded area.

Once we were far enough away I turned to the boy and held out my hand. "I'm Kurohime Akuma wanna be friends?"I introduced myself bluntly. "Eh! Y-you really wanna be friends with me?" He asked astounded with my offer. I simply nodded in response, but that was all it took for him to light up with joy. "Alright I'm Uzumaki Naruto and I'm gonna be Hokage! Believe it!" Naruto exclaimed excitedly. A light chuckle escaped my lips as I spoke, "I believe it." With a warm smile on my face.

Naruto blushed a very light shade of pink at my smile. This could be the start of a beautiful friendship Hikaru chuckled from inside my mind. I couldn't agree more. I responded softly.
