The she cat paddled trying to keep her head above water. She gasped for air only to get a mouthful of water. She gagged and coughed, she knew there wasn't much time left for her. Then her paws met a solid object. She looked up, dazed, to find a rock there. The rock saved her life. She flopped down on it gasping. She easily jumped the bank and walked the only place she could, back to the den.
