Chapter 1

Hi my name is Brianna "Bri" LaRae Ramirez. I'm half Hispanic and half White. 16 years old and the captain of my high school's dance team. I also play softball.

"Ugh this stupid alarm! I don't want to get up yet!"

It's Monday... I hate Mondays!!

I roll out of bed and trudge my way to my bathroom. I plug in my straighter, turn on Pandora and jump into the shower.

*You know what to do with that big fat butt... Wiggle wiggle wiggle*

This is my jam! I start twerking in the shower and end up slipping and falling!

"Ugh!"

I get out of the shower and throw on a red crop top, ripped high wasted shorts and my red high top converses on. I got back into my bathroom and straighten my hair and go for the natural look with my makeup. I look in my full length mirror and damn I look good! I grab my purse, binder, dance bag and keys and head downstairs.

I guess you guys are wondering about my parents. Well I don't live with them anymore. They wanted to move to Nebraska for business and I didn't want to leave my life behind in California so we made some compromises and they bought me an apartment and I just had to promise to be responsible and keep my grades up in school. I know I'm pretty lucky. But my mom comes and stays with me off and on when she has to do business in town. Or whenever they want a vacay from Nebraska, they come and see me!

I walk outside to my all white Range Rover. (thanks Daddy!) I know what you guys are thinking I'm a spoiled little brat but that's not the case at all. I work hard for all the stuff my parents give me. I maintain a 4.0 and take all AP and Honors classes. So these things aren't handed to me, they are rewards.

I hop in my car, roll all the windows down and blast Wop radio on Pandora. (My absolute favorite!) All of the good songs are playing as I drive to Dutch Bros for coffee and then to Einstein Bagels to get bagels with strawberry schmear for me and my best friend Andrea!
