To seize her beginnings and tie up her ends, she's not afraid to lose traitor friends. They stab at her heart until she's nothing but blood, she ignores the hatred, even though they treat her like mud. Clothes on their backs and a home to end up at, perfectly clean little bows on their hats. "Soon," she convinces, "Soon, I'll get even," but poor little Suzy has nothing to believe in.
