Going in Different Directions

CHAPTER 1

I got home after tennis, decided to take a quick shower. As I got out, I realised I got a face book message. I clicked messages and saw it was from this guy, you'll realise who it is when you read through this. The message was from 'Guess who I am' and the message read "Hey Ruby, have you got back from tennis yet?" 

I typed back "Hey, yeah I'm pretty tired! How are you? Wuu2?" I clicked send and looked around, searching for my comb. Found it and got a reply back.

"Have a nap, you don't have to chat! I'm good, you? I actually just came back from a bit of grocery shopping, you? :) x"

"Nahh, I'm good. Just got out the shower, BRB mums calling me!" I got out of bed and popped my head out of my bedroom door. “Yes, mum?”

“I’m going shopping with dad; take care of your brother!”

“Kay mum!” I quickly got back and jumped into my bed. I saw another reply from ‘Guess who I am’ “Okay, I’m waiting :) Any news?” I read through the message and started typing.

“Yeah, I have to take care of my brother while my mum’s gone shopping :/ Ahh!”

“I feel bad for you, I know how it feels!”

“OMG, I’m going to a One Direction concert on the 26th of June! I am SOO excited!”

“You are? Congrats! Hope you have fun babe :)” Omg he called me babe!?

“Who’s your favourite? I know you like them!”

“My favourite...? Umm, gotta say it has to be Zayn, he seems like a pretty cool guy!”

“OMG, really? We have so much in common, he’s my favourite too”

I really like this guy, he seems pretty sweet! He always replies and never ignores me.....he’s so sweet! I WISH I could meet him I WANT to see how he looks! He’s really nice over the internet but I don’t know if he’s even real!? I really love how he likes One Direction too, his favourites Zayn! I mean what a coincidence, I love Zayn so much! This ‘Guess who I am’ guy is really sweet and nice but I really just want to meet him in real life! Should I ask to meet up with him?

“He’s your favourite too? Hahaha, what a coincidence!”

“Yeah, could you please tell me what your name is??”

“Nope, I want you to know some other time or day, I just feel it’s not the right moment for me to tell you! Sorry babe!”

Zayn’s point of view

This girl I’ve been talking to for about like 8 months now seems really nice! Her name is Ruby and for some reason I just love this girl!? Just got a reply back from her.

“Pleassee for me?”

Ruby is really begging me to tell her my name, if I do tell her my name she would think I wasn’t telling the truth because I said Zayn was my favourite! I really like this girl but I just....ahh.

“Zayn, have a slice of pizza and stop talking to this random girl!” Harry said while stuffing his face with pizza. I blushed a bit then got up and picked up a slice.

“Ruby, I would really tell you my name but I’m really busy right now, sorry talk to you later! How about 7pm? Xx”

“Zayn, are you crazy? You just lied to this girl, you aren’t busy all you have to do is eat a slice of pizza!” Louis said peeking at my screen from behind the sofa. I ignored him.

“It’s okay, 7 sounds good :) I’ll be online”

Ruby replied and believes that I’m busy, I feel bad about lying....

“Hey Ruby”

I really can’t tell Ruby that I’m the actual Zayn Malik, she won’t believe me! I just don’t know what to do! I might as well just ask the boys they always help me out.

“Hey Liam, this girl who I’ve been talking to for a while is asking me to tell her my name, what shall I do, I can't tell her!"

“Umm, Zayn just ask her to meet you up somewhere like Starbucks.” Liam smiled.

“That’s a great idea? How could I have not thought of that? Thanks Liam, you’re always there for me.” I said then hugged Liam.

“Hey ‘Guess who I am’, still haven’t told me your name?”

“Haha, meet me at Starbucks? Then you’ll meet me in person and you’ll know my name.”

Ruby’s POV

What? He wants to meet me? Shall I go and meet him at Starbucks, I want to meet him but then I don’t even know if he’s a real person! I am so confused? What shall I do.......I’ll just go, if I don’t go this guy might feel bad and he seems really sweet so I’ll go.

“Umm, sure what time? & when?”

He replied like a second later

“Starbucks, tomorrow? If you’re free and 7pm”

“I’m free tomorrow at 7; okay I’ll meet you there! Bye”

“Bye Ruby, you’re a really sweet girl!”

He thinks I’m sweet? I love this guy he’s so nice, I actually am pretty nervous about meeting him but then I’m looking forward to it. I don’t know what to wear and I have to go to school tomorrow, takes up have of my day! I’m so sleepy; I think I might just go to sleep.

So it’s the next morning and I have to go to school......this just reminds me after school I have to plan on what I’m wearing and stuff. That brings me closer to 7pm! I can’t believe I’m actually going to meet him!

Back from school, I’m getting really nervous now..........WHAT AM I GOING TO WEAR!? I know I can’t wear something really fancy so I’ll go for something casual. I’m wearing a shirt that says ‘Have fun’ with denim shorts and converse. Oh shit, its 6pm I’m going pop on some makeup........I better get going now! God I am so nervous! D:
