Hey limelights sorry this a short chapter cause we got writers block soooo we didn't know what to do.
Paige POV:
When we got to the boys house I sigh as I hit the sofa because it's an uncomfortable topic for us.
Daniel- "so guys what's going on with this disappearing thing".
Jana- "You know umm... don't worry about it we are fine, right Paige?" Jana nudges me so I quickly say, "Uh yeah right we are fine" I reply nervously.
Jonah- "SERIOUSLY WE HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR HOURS TRYING TO FIND YOU WE HAVE BEEN CRYING AND WORRIED SICK! YOU HAVE TO TELL US THIS IS CRAZY WE KNOW SOMETHING IS UP WITH YOU GUYS!!!" Jonah yelled furiously standing up.
"I, I, I'm sorry I didn't mean to yell I was just worried...." Jonah said after, under his breath looking down.
Jack and Zach- "WHAT THE HELL JONAH DON'T YELL AT THEM THEY OBVIOUSLY WENT THROUGH A LOT" They yell weirdly at the same time.
"It's not like we haven't been yelled at before". Jana says
"Exactly we are fine like we said" I added
"Wait what do you mean 'it's not like I haven't been yelled at before'." Jack asked.
"Ummm you no what? Don't worry about us we have been by ourselves, we have protected each other, hiding from...... ah forget I said that bit since year 7." I said instantly regretting what I said, I hid behind Jana who was on the sofa next to me
"What do u mean why were you hiding?!?!, and why were you by yourself!" Zach yelled a little to loudly which made me and Jana flinch and grip on to each other.
"Plz don't hurt us!" Jana said blocking our faces.
"We would never, ever, ever hurt you we care about you girls so much." Jack says
"I can't do this" I say as me and Jana start walking towards the front door.
I feel someone grab my wrist, it was jack
"I'm not going to stop you from leaving but please promise me you won't run away again." Jack says concerned. "I'll try just for you, but no promises." I smile and walk away with Jana, feeling happy that someone in this world cares about me.
