Chapter 2

Alyssa's POV:-

Honestly I wasn't that short in height.
I was 5ft and 2 inches tall but what I was mocked for was my weight, and my long hair, and my fair complexion.

I really hoped that someday I would like coming to that place..I mean coming to school.
I was busy reading a book when someone stood beside my table.

"Hi, I am Jacob Baker," he said letting out his hands.
"Alyssa," I said shaking hands with him.

"So you're a new student. How has it been so far?"

"Honestly, pathetic!" I said.
He started laughing.
"Which school were you studying in before?" He asked.

"Olives high school," I said with a tinge of embarassment in my voice.
He just shrugged.
Obviously he didn't know about that school.
Apparently no one did.

"Is anyone sitting with you?" He asked.
"Yeah Danielle is. You can have a seat though, until she comes back."

He sat beside me, not uttering a word. He was just staring.
After a moment or so I just asked him why he was staring at me.

He just shook his head and after taking a pause that was a little less longer than infinity, he spoke up.
"You're really beautiful."

Bullshit!

"No Jacob, I'm not. Or maybe your definition of 'beautiful' is way too different."

He then said," No seriously. You must have dated like ten or fifteen guys until now!"

"I have never dated anyone, honestly. Probably because who wants a girlfriend that would look like me."

"You're stupid Alyssa," was all that he said and then walked away.

Well, no doubt about that.
Getting through the entire day, at that weird place, wasn't easy.

I got back to reading the book like before,when suddenly I felt someone pulling my chair.

I turned back to see who it was.
It was a guy whom I obviously didn't know.
"What are you doing?" I asked.

"I just had a bet with my friend that whether or not I could move your chair. Because honestly, it would take a hell lot of efforts to move that much of weight."

That line literally pierced through my non existent confidence.
Once again I was reminded that I didn't look good.

I had no answer to his stupidity so I just got up and went outside.
The reason why I actually left was to avoid crying in front of them.

I was heading towards the washroom, when I saw him again.
Stefan.
He was arguing with a girl over something that I didn't know.
I wished that he would notice me, but he didn't.
I just waited for that day to end.
