We are a small part of a world,
Apart of a solar system,
Inside a galaxy so
Big, that is a drop of water
In the ocean of the universe?
Why, it feels like we are such
A small part.
Why are anyone's problems
Of any consequence?
It gives some perspective
To the ordinary inconveniences
That plague our lives
To know that there is a universe
Far larger with disasters
That make our problems seem like
Ants to a mountain.
That is the beauty, you see.
Despite being so small,
We have the greatest problems,
And the best moments.
Enjoy the little things,
Because who knows?
Maybe in this big, wide universe
There is someone who
Wishes to be you.
