You know how I told you I never cried.
That's a lie
And when I told you don't die in a joking manner.
I really meant it.
And now that you're gone for life.
I wish you knew.
That the things I say aren't always exactly as they seem and now that I can't tell you exactly what I mean I'm starting to think my life was a lie.
All the times I frowned upside down,
And the times I looked up at the sky
Were actually all lies
And the times you said you wouldn't leave my side
That was a lie.
I shouldn't have smiled I shouldn't have expected. And now that your gone I'm seeing the truth to my actions.
And when I wake from this nightmare,
With you still here and my frown still upside down and I'm still looking up at the sky and when everything isn't a lie.
And your not dead in my arms,
And your blood isn't soaking through my shirt,
Where you're not very much hurt.
I'll stop looking at the sky and I'll look at you and check to make sure you know I'm not lying with my stupid smile,
