Diza! High School Romance

Liza P.O.V
    It's my first day of junior year in high school. I'm kind of nervous but I'll be okay. At least I have Gabbie with me. Gabbie and I have been friends since Pre-K.
                          //FLASHBACK//

"Bye Mom!" I say as I walk into my new school.

"Pick you up later Elizabeth."

As I walk in, I see kids around the same age as me...4 years old.

"Hi!" I hear someone say behind me. "I'm Gabbie!"

"Hi Gabbie." I say. "I'm Elizabeth."

"Elizabeth?!" Gabbie gasps. "That's too long of a name!" She whines. I giggle. "I'm gonna call you Liza."

Liza? I like the sound of that. "Ok." I say.

"Wanna play and be bestest  friends?" Gabbie asks.

"Yeah." I say as we run off.

I began to walk to my locker when I hear...
"LIZA!!" Gabbie screams. She runs and tackles me too the floor.

"Ow!" I exclaim as she pulls me up.

"Gimme your schedule, what classes do u have?"

"I already checked. We have all of our classes together!" I say. Telling Gabbie is excited.

"YAY!" Gabbie exclaims.

   As I'm organizing my locker, Gabbie starts talking about her huge crush, Zane. I tune her out as I finish on my locker. Just as I close it, a group of 3 girls come up to me and Gabbie.

"Your the new girl, right?" Unknown says.

"Yeah... I'm Liza." I say confused.

"Ok.. Lisa! I just wanted to let you know that..." She pulls me even closer then I was before."... you can date whoever you want, just not the people  I want." She wipers in my ear.

"Hey back off, bitch!" Gabbie yells.

"What are you gonna do?" The girl says.

Then a guy in a black shirt, black pants, and a black hat walks up to my locker."Come on Samantha. Backup." He says.

"Fine. But only for you Davie." Samantha says batting her eyes at David. I roll my eyes as the girls leave.

"You guys okay?" David asks.

"Um... y-y-yeah... we-we're good!" I say studdering. God I'm so stupid. I think.

"What's your names?" David asks in his raspy voice.

"Gabbie!" She says as David nods and turns to me.

"I'm Liza." I say looking into his big Brown eyes. David is really cute but I'm sure he doesn't like me.

" Well have a good day Liza and Gabbie." David walks away and winks at me. I blush.

" You like David!" Gabbie says.

"What?!... No.. I don't!" I exclaim.

" Yeah you do! I can see it in your eyes. Come on girl!" Gabbie says pulling me to our next class. I guess I like David a little bit! He's really cute and he seems nice. I believe me and David could be together but he probably doesn't think that. I think to myself.
