Chapter 9

Jennie's POV

We stood there for God knows how long. I just couldn't get enough with this feeling, this feeling being so close to her. As much as I want to savor this moment as long as possible, my phone rang in my pocket that cause us both to break apart.

I fished out my phone in my pocket and saw Jisoo's name on the screen "Um, hey chichu", I greeted through the phone. She explained that Rose and her want the four of us to hang out today. I don't have any schedule today so I accepted the request.  "Yeah, sure. Will be waiting in 5 minutes. Cool, bye," I ended the call and I felt like someone is gazing at me. Oh, I almost forgot that Lisa is here.

"It's Jisoo, she said that she would be here in 5 minutes to pick us up with Rose with her. To.. just probably hang out," I said facing her. I feel flustered because she just stood there staring at me and didn't even bother to say something.

We just stood there for a couple of seconds, having a staring contest that I did not back down even tho I know that I look like a blushing mess right now. She chuckled. I was taken aback and could not help but smile "Hey, what's funny," I pouted.

"Nothing, you're just cute," she said smiling coyly then pinched my cheeks.

"Ow. That hurts you know," I said sounding sad. "Sorry. Let me kiss it then," then she started to lean on my cheeks and I was surprised. But someone bursted through the door that cause us both to jump a little.

"Let's go!" Jisoo exclaimed with Rose smiling just behind her. This brat knows how to ruin my moments! "Some of your guards know me and let me in because they still remember this beautiful face back in New Zealand so don't question it," she said while showing off her face to us.

"Yeah right. Did you just said beautiful? When did you even adapt that word? I don't even remember you having that," I said mockingly.

"That hurts you know, Jendeuk," Jisoo acted as if she's hurt. She knows that I'm only joking, we're used to have this kind of friendship. Me always being savage towards her but we both  know how much we love and got our backs to each other.

I smiled then look at everyone in this room, "Let's go". We went inside Jisoo's luxurious car and we're glad that she's not bringing a body guard right now and so did I.

We headed towards the road where it would lead us to the mall. Music blasting inside the car and got us jamming throughout the ride even tho it's just for a couple of minutes until we arrived to our destination. Jisoo parked her car, then we hop off and we walked our way to the entrance of the mall.

We first went to the theaters and watched a movie that I don't even  remember its title but it made everyone inside the theaters cry except for me and Jisoo. I'm not paying attention to the screen but to the person beside me then i remember what happened last night that it suddenly angers me just by remembering it. I sighed, i grab my handkerchief in my jacket's pocket then wiped off the tears in her cheeks. She faced to the side then smiled at me"Thanks," she chuckled, sniffing. " I raised an eyebrow then asked why she's chuckling "I told myself not to cry before the movie started, but I failed miserably,". I laughed lightly then asked "Why did you know that this would be a crying movie tho?"
"I watched the trailer in YouTube and red the comments after. So.. yeah," she shrugged, I nod.

"I don't even understand why the boy continue chasing the girl when clearly he doesn't have a chance. He ended up hurting himself and the girl who's truly loving him. Then he finds out that his best friend is moving on, the girl that loved him since from the beginning, but she still helped him. Now that they're together, I don't have any reason to cry," I spoked

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever you say Jennie Kim," she smirked. When did my name sound so sexy? when she says it.

After the movie ended, we went to buy something to eat for lunch. Then we went to buy some personal stuff or in other words "shopping" which took us for 2 hours. We also went to the arcades to try some fun games. We were having so much fun that we lost track in our time.

Jisoo return us to our respective homes and said our farewell. I went up straight to my room, glancing at the clock, it's already 7:00pm. We already have our dinner outside and I'm pretty sure my parents are busy as always and no one knows where they are right now.

I chatted to our group chat one last time before I doze off to my dreamland.

A/N: HIIII!! I'M BACK FROM THE DEAD!  Maybe some of you already thought that I'm dead but I dunno, really. I'll comment tomorrow because tomorrow is our last examination day and i'm soooo tired and anxious and all! Maybe I'll edit this tomorrow because my mind is blank and I do not know what I'm typing rn. I love you but I know you all hate me so bye!:*
