A/N: Umm sooo every time I publish this chapter, it somehow unpublished itself and deletes its own title. I'm so confused.

"Slow down, Scout! I can't catch you!" You panted, pausing to lean against a nearby wall to catch your breath. It was a ceasefire day, and you had been bored, so you bet Scout $50 dollars you would be able to beat him in a race. Obviously, he was too fast for you, but at least it was fun to try to keep up.

Scout jogged toward you, a smug grin on his face. "C'mon (Y/N)." You pushed yourself off the wall and the chase resumed. You saw the finishing line (well, it was just the doorway to the dining room because you had no proper finish to the race) coming up. Scout was still way ahead of you, but there was a chance, just a small one, that you could slip through and get that $50. You put on an extra burst of speed, but it wasn't enough. Scout beat you by miles.

You plodded the rest of the way to the finish, a fake scowl on your face. Scout looked happy, though.

"So, what do I owe you?" You said, taking out your wallet. "Um." Scout cleared his throat. "(Y/N), will you... Go out on a date with me?"

The question caught you completely by surprise. You always knew that Scout kind of liked you, but you had no idea that he had a crush on you.

"Sure, Scout."

"Oh, um, I-I mean, that's great! Meet me on the roof when the sun starts to set." He was trying to sound romantic, but he was failing miserably. You giggled as he walked away.

You had to admit it. Scout was kinda cute. Well, not kinda cute, really cute. The way he always showed off to you always made you laugh, how he always came to you after battles with a proud grin to tell you about how he beat down like ten people at once, how he had saved somebody's life or how he had fought through one hundred defences to steal the intelligence. A chat with Scout is always the highlight of your day, so, being honest, you were looking forward to the date.

Scout had asked you to bring your dinner up to the roof with him. He'd decided that having dinner with the rest of the team would mean annoying jokes, which you agreed with.

You picked out your best dress, a red one with black floral patterns and laces at the back, picked up your dinner at the dining room, and headed up to the roof.

There Scout sat, his legs dangling over the edge, looking over the horizon to where the sun was beginning to set. He had set up a small picnic rug, complete with candlesticks and two glasses of wine. You could tell that Spy had helped in some way.

"Why hello, (Y/N)." He said, turning around slowly. "May I say you look-"

"Scout, You don't have to pretend to be someone you're not," you giggled. He gave a relived sigh.

"Look, (Y/N), um... I like you. Like, really like you."

You smiled. "I, like, really like you too, Scout."

"R-really? I-I mean of course!" You smiled and leaned in close to him.

And that was where your lips met in your first kiss.
