her eyes an endless pool of blue as they scanned his face in search of some recollection of the the love they once shared, an inkling of the laughs, a remnants of the beauty that was once between the now distant strangers. she screamed and cried wondering what she had done wrong. Her eyes filled with tears, her hands balled into fists so tight her nails cut into her palms. The sting from them the only thing keeping her from floating away in an attempt to escape the mess that was this interaction. The mess that was her relationship or lack thereof but she knew she knew she couldn't.
