Tobey woke up with a headache, all he remembered was traveling through the portal. Draco was next to him also trying to understand what just happened. Tobey looked up and saw a small bit of light coming from a distant hole. Tobey thought it must have been safe to assume that they fell. Draco looked over at Tobey, both of them sitting up, and said, "What happened?"
"That was my first time using the portal device. Maybe we fell down a little bit."
"A little bit? My head is pounding. I'm pretty sure it was a lot."
"Well let's get going I guess. The device did say the cloaked person went to this dimension next."
"Fine."
They got up and Tobey almost fell the first time but he managed to just barely catch himself. They looked around and saw only one area to go. They were about to start going down the path when in front of them, a little yellow flower bloomed extremely fast, growing a face, it started at the two and said, "Howdy! I'm Flowe-"
Tobey interrupted the talking flower and said, "Please tell me that I am hallucinating."
Draco looked at the flower and then back at Tobey, "Afraid not."
The flower gave a little huff and took the attention of the two, "Anyways, I'm Flowey! Flowey the flower!"
Tobey felt unease as a flower spoke to him. Draco also seemed a little bit confused at the matter. The flower opened its mouth to speak but Tobey walked past him. The flower turned and yelled, "Hey! That's pretty rude of you!"
"Blah blah blah, I'm not a fan of monologues."
Draco started to follow him and the flower crawled back into the dirt and sprouted again in front of Tobey, this time having a different face. It was a face that seemed as if it was going to kill somebody right there. "You know exactly what's going on, don't you?"
"Not really, but here's the magic about it. I don't care!" Tobey told the flower, unamused.
Then before Tobey reached a doorway at the end of the stone hallway, a wall of small white bullet looking things appeared in front of him and Draco. The flower spoke to the two and said, "Die."
Then right before the bullets slammed themselves into the adventurers, a fireball shot past Tobey and hit the flower. All the bullets disappeared from sight as a woman walked up to our adventurers. She wasn't any normal woman, mainly because she was a goat lady. She still stood on two legs and spoke English none the less. "How dare that horrible creature try to hurt such innocent people."
Tobey blinked a few times and then rubbed his eyes a little two and the woman was still there giving such a pure smile that made Tobey actually feel safe. Tobey greeted himself, "Hey, thanks for whatever that was. My name is Tobey."
The goat woman gave a smile and a light laugh and said, "No problem! I'm Toriel, caretaker of the ruins."
She turned to Draco and said, "And your name would be?"
Draco answered her by saying, "Draco."
"Well it is wonderful to meet you two. Follow me please."
Tobey responded with a simple, "Ok!"
They went and walked through a maze of tunnels, but Toriel knew the way exactly. There were a few randomly placed simple puzzles such as pulling levers here and there. They soon arrived at a long hall and Toriel looked at the two and said, "I am sorry I must do this."
Tobey and Draco looked confused for a second and Toriel ran to the end of the hallway and hid behind a pillar. She was halfway hidden behind the pillar so they saw her standing there watching. Tobey was confused for a sec but then started laughing only a little because of it. Draco joined in with him and then they both stopped laughing and started walking to the end of the hallway. Once they arrived at the end of the hall, Toriel walked from behind the pillar and said, "Don't worry, for I was hiding behind this pillar the whole time."
Tobey gave a sarcastic reply, "Really? Who would've thought it!"
Then Toriel looked at the two and said, "Please stay here, I'll be back in a bit."
She quickly left without any other words. Tobey looked at Draco and back to the doorway next to the pillar. After waiting a minute he said, "Well, this is boring. I'm gonna go look for her."
Tobey started walking and Draco quickly followed behind. They went through a few easy puzzle like flipping levers and pushing rocks onto pressure plates. They eventually ended up at large dead tree when a phone rang in Draco's pocket. He took it out and looked at it. It obviously wasn't his phone and the number was strange also. "Tobey when did this get here?"
"No clue but I say you should answer it."
Draco accepted the call and he started speaking to whoever was on the other side. "Hello? Toriel? When did you hand me this phone?"
Then they saw Toriel come from a doorway that seemed like a large stone house. She was on the phone talking when she came out. "Are you still where I t-"
She stopped the second she saw Tobey and Draco. She quickly hung up and ran over to them. "Are you hurt? Did anything happen?"
Tobey spoke this time. "No. We're perfectly fine."
"Oh thank goodness, it would have been awful if anything did happen. Though I must ask you both if you prefer cinnamon or butterscotch."
They looked at each other and shrugged. Draco said, "We don't have a preference."
"Then I will make a cinnamon butterscotch pie for all of us. Follow me."
They did as she said and followed in the stone structure and when they opened the door it seemed to be a very nice house inside. Toriel lead them to a room and said, "This room is for you two. Now I'm going to go start baking."
She left the room and Tobey flipped onto the bed and fell asleep. Draco was surprised by how fast Tobey went to sleep and decided that he would sleep on the ground with a blanket. Not too much later though Toriel peeked into the room to see them sleeping. She placed two slices of pie on the ground as they slept and walked off.
