Cradle of Lust
Prologue
In the depths of Hell dwells the devil, Lord Satan and with him the six other princes of Hell each of whom represent the great sins of mortals. Satan and all his dark children found their malice to limited under the watchful gaze of God's archangels. While never able to set foot before the gates of Heaven, Earth realm to the mortals was not so greatly defended against the influence of sin. Simple and mortal sin had long served as the fuel for the dark children. However the dark prince of lust, Asmodeus grew bored of the same sinful acts committed by mortals. He thirsted for a new sensation and craved the corruption of the purity that no mortal soul could comprehend. Then only once he had managed to lure and tempt an angel into his dark domains. In the night of their embrace the two entities conceived a child and had broken a sacred law.
Soon the servants of heaven learned of the angel's engagement with the dark prince and would sooner have the angel and child destroyed. The angel begged and pleaded with the almighty father to spare the child. The heavenly father decided to only spare the child on the condition that he is condemned to Earth. It would be his life among the mortals that would decide his place either among the heavens beside his mother or in the fiery depths of Hell with his demon father and such would the angel's fate as well. Before the angel surrendered her child to Earth she would give him his name. Vincent she called him, beautiful Vincent.
Despite Vincent living in the mortal world he wasn't out of contact with either of his true parents. There were ways to communicate without necessarily breaking god's laws. Vincent's mother was able to commune with him on hallowed grounds such as a cemetery or church while she dwelled within purgatory. His father was only able to commune through vanity mirrors. Life was hard and despite knowing what he was Vincent came to love both his parents. His only struggle now is choosing a lifestyle that will decide his eternal fate.
