Isabel wonder why she was the mistress of nate archibald married to captain serena vanderwoodsen of the United states  air force

Nate was a lawyer who who had.hired her to be his date

Dan humphrey wondered why he and serena never married each other after high school

Blair and chuck tried to make their relationship but after one too many affairs blair dumped chuck

Chuck tried helping nate out when serena left for deployment that's where he met isabel at one of chuck’s parties

Nate tried very hard to be faithful to serena but didn't meet with success

When their high school reunion came up

Isabel went alone while nate and serena tried to be the perfect couple

Dan saw vanessa standing there talking to isabel , he went up to talk to her

How have you been?

Dan: good just finished my fifth book

Vanessa nodded: wow that must be good
