I wake up I turn my speaker on, hitting the play button on my phone. 8TEEN by Khalid blasts out of it as I begin to start my day. I dance in circles around my room, forgetting what I was doing. "BECAUSE IM 8TEEN AND I STILL LIVE WITH MY PARENTS" I scream out as I hear the front door open and close. Its only 3 o'clock, my mom doesn't get home until 5. I slowly turn my music down, in case it was a robber, and make my way towards the stairs. I hear noises in the kitchen and look around for something to protect myself with. I turn around the corner and scream when I run into someone.
I look up, "Jake! You scared me, what are you doing here?" I ask my brothers best friend.
"Kyle said he won't be home for a while but I was bored so I came over here" I roll my eyes and walked back up the stairs. I walk up to my room,
