Rebecca is an Alfred Hitchcock movie. It's about a fairly young girl who marries a man on vacation. All is well until they travel back to his house. Rebecca was the max' wife who weirdly died several years earlier. Weird occurrences around the house start happening to the innocent, young wife. The housekeeper refuses to let another woman rule the roost and tries to ruin the husband and wife's relationship.
All secrets are unveiled at the end and we discover max killed his wife!*It's a good film to watch on a Sunday afternoon when you want to relax and drink tea/coffee. You don't have to put much thought into the film however because of that it makes the film more mysterious.
Overall, I enjoyed this film and am obsessed with the 1940s language and quaint, British voices. It is a mystery film and there is a lot of melodrama and fairly eerie parts in it.
I feel like this late night write does the film barely any justice but it's a complete classic and a film you must see multiple times in your life!!!
